Roots you in place for 10 minutes, while you play a little tune. Interestingly, you can (currently) shift into all druid forms, which use the attackunarmed/basic swing animation. Moonkin holds the harp in left hand against the body while the other does what I think is Moonfire cast?

Can be looted from Coffre harmonique in Sylvarden.
It applies Jouer de la harpe buff for 10 minutes, making you hear a “soothing melody” but also making you unable to move for as long as this effect is active or until its cancelled.
Both audio and visual effects are played only locally, meaning that other players won't hear nor even see you using this item. (after sending a ticket, GM confirmed that this is in fact expected behaviour)
Requires level 48 to be used.

Bonus: If you want to become a playful bard that can be heard by his allies, Flûte faë might interest you.

As of version 9.0.2.36753, the effect of the toy is only visible by other characters sharing the same race and sex.

This looks like a bug, there is no reason why the effect should not be visible by everyone.

Also, the music can be heard under the same conditions by whoever is standing very close to the character (~3 meters).

If you use this item on a mage, casting spells will not cancel the toy's effects, even while in combat. And though you are unable to move while using the toy, you can use Blink to teleport around while using the harp, which is quite amusing.

You cannot move/walk/run while playing, obviously. You're frozen in place.

This is my favorite toy in the game, and as soon as I saw it mentioned from the datamining during the Alpha/Beta phases, I was determined to get it. I play the harp myself, and it's just a nice thing to have my favorite instrument represented in my favorite game. Plus, if we ever get a bard class, this toy's totally gonna be mapped as a keybind on that character.

As of 9.05 it's no longer possible to play the harp while shapeshifted. Why did they have to remove this? The animations of shapeshifted forms playing the harp were funny.

Use this in BGs when you're mind controlled to prevent priest from walking you off cliff

Undocumented patch 9.1.5 change: Emotes that have their own animations, such as /roar, no longer override the harp's.
