If you've already done your weekly full torghast run, you can leave Torghast once you're done with your quest, you don't have to finish your run.
Just did that on floor 2 of layer 3 in the Soulforges.

I did one full clear of level 1 torghast and got the full amount needed for the quest the last of it was off the final boss. That was with clearing everything on every level.

I was able to get 150 for the quest doing Layer 1. I got the full amount by the end of Floor 4.

These can also come from Twisting Corridors if you'd rather pick them up in there.

I did the campaign quest to grab "the first paladin"'s soul from torghast, a scenario, with a full clear i received 143 of the 150 I needed, so if RNG favors you then you might not need to do a floor clear.
