To punish higher levels for farming Dire Maul, Blizzard has made this a BOUND ON PICKUP, the description that is Bind on equipped is wrong. If you pick it up, it will be soulbound and you will not be able to transfer it, i.e. sell it or send to another toon.

The cache that used to contain this has been depreciated, therefore according to a GM this pattern no longer drops in-game.

So from playtesting 10.1.5 and other websites, it looks like this item along with many other patterns found in the Thimblejack Knot's cache are returning. Looks like the profession completionists like me will be able to get this on our Leatherworkers.

As of Patch 10.1.5, this is now once again obtainable.

It has a chance to drop from Réserve de Noué Dédodevie in Dire Maul North, a reward for completing Nouer des liens.
