These can be found around the Kyrian Assault dailies, you can have more than one in your inventory (i had 5 at one time but not sure what the max amount is.) These spears are fantastic for helping take down other rares in the maw that arent part of the assault.

A minor warning. While attempting to solo Infernus, I already had 10 spears. I was curious if I could hold more than 10. There are two close by Stewards at /way #1543 38.24 34.09
and spears spawn right there every so often. When I clicked on one (with 10 in my bag) it reset to a single spear. Don't learn the hard way like I did.

FYI - here's the target HP and damage done by number of spears thrown...
1 - 70%
2 - 49%
3 - 34%
4 - 24%
5 - 17%
6 - 12%
7 - 8%
8 - 6%
9 - 4%
10 - 3%

After quite a bit of experimentation the theoretical numbers above don't seem to bear out.
Nevertheless, a bunch of spears, say 6-7, usually leads to defeat of most of the elite baddies.

This item actually works on the world boss, Mor'geth, it will apply the debuff to him and it correctly decreases his health and damage.
