After get the item you'll receive the quest Réassimilation de schéma : scarabidé féroce.
Return the quest to allows craft Scarabidé féroce.

If you've unlocked protoform synthesis and it's not there, wait for a bit and it will respawn. My wait time was about 5 minutes.
