just got this in the mail. It came attached to a letter from Ve'nari, addressed to "My Working Partner". Not a clue why...

After finding Ve'nari's image (9.2.5, post Jailer's defeat) in the Maw in her stead, her body can be found at the Creation Catalyst in Zereth Mortis. Engineers with googles will notice inconsistencies upon closer inspection of the corpse.

After interacting with the corpse, players receive an in-game mail from Ve'nari with this toy. It reads:

I do hope you did not think I died within Zereth Mortis. I would apologize, but what is a fake death between working partners?

My plans went off without a "hitch" as you mortals say.

Thanks to your help, I was able to create a device in Zereth Mortis that allows me to travel the cosmos.

I am not longer bound to the Maw, and now Cartel Ve will believe I am dead.

There is an entire existence for me to explore with plenty of opportunities. In fact, I met someone named Xolartios who has offered to serve as my guide.

I am sure we will meet again when I have need of a reliable asset.

Approximately 5 days after interacting with Ve'nari's Corpse in Zereth Mortis, I received an in-game mail from her that contained this toy attached to a letter.

When you use this item, it spawns a Broker Portal in front of you. Using it will give you 3 dialogue options:

<Ask the Device a Question.> - This plays a random voice line from Ve'nari of her "wisdom." ~~I do not know which are available.~~ According to this news article, the following *random* voice lines are possible, akin to a Magic 8-Ball:

All mysteries will be revealed.
I have limitless time. You do not.
It would be folly to go after them now. Remain focused. There will be time for theatrics later.
You are being watched, mortal.
Do try again.
Hmm... now that is interesting.
There is a mystery to unravel. Perhaps you will not fail me yet.
Do not let me keep you. I suppose you have something more important to do than saving reality itself?
Just because I have infinite time does not mean I have infinite patience.
What an admirably specific question... the answer to which I can only hypothesize.
You are on the verge of an important discovery. Do not allow it to pass your notice.
If you perceive with objectivity and clarity, you will find things of value everywhere around you.

<Access Ve'nari's Rules Archive.> - This allows you to choose a Rule you learned from Ve'nari and have her repeat it with her voice line.

<Access Ven'ari's Description of the Device.> - This will pop up the following message:

Maw Walker, I included this device as a gift for your sufficient help in my plans. With it, I have meticulously recorded my own sage wisdom. When you find yourself wondering what you should do, you need only ask. The device should provide you with a sufficient response for the situation. And if it doesn't well... then it is your fault.

As a last entry I also included all my rules, lest you forget. We aren't in the Maw anymore Maw Walker, but they are all salient to the lives we live and wherever we go.

If your main not the proff dont bother she will never leave no mater your MAIN story progress aka an alts thes used all the skips added will still HAVE to do her "story" from scratch just like the BFA KT/TRoll races STILL.

Today I tried to figure out what was required to get this toy. My main character had done all of Zereth Mortis (ZM) Campaign including Sylvanas judgment, but she was still present in the Maw. This character is not max rep with her which is the reason.
My other character who is hadn't done the ZM campaign nor the Korthia campaign also still saw her. After doing all the chapters in ZM and doing Sylvanas judgment she was gone and the corpse is present in the creation catalyst.

So you need to do the Sylvanas judgment quests, get rep and do her lessons. Inspect to corpse and wait for her to mail it to you.

Let's see how my main qualifies for this toy...

Exalted/Appreciative with Ve'nari? Check.
Skill-capped Shadowlands Engineering as well as every other expansions in addition to being a Gnome? Check.
Wearing self-crafted goggles? Check.
Finding Ve'nari's corpse? Check.
Any special dialogue? ...

Nothing, absolutely nothing. My char is apparently not qualified for it...

1. Speak with Ve'nari at Ve'Nari's Refuge 46.41. She should have an ethereal tint.
2. Click her 'corpse' at 47.88 in the Creation Catalyst in Zerith Mortis.
3. A dialog window will pop up with an option for engineers to select, "Engineering: Something doesn't seem right..."
4. Wait 5 days and you should receive a mail with the toy!

Note: I didn't need engineering goggles to see her. Also, I'd killed Jailer before doing any of this.

So... If the toy doesnt appear in your toybox after learning it try to relog. Fixed it for me.

I received the mail from Ve'Nari, and the toy was not included, I also cannot find the toy in the toy collections tab, learned or unlearned it just isn't there at all

Maybe you were like me: you thought you'd done everything required, but Ve'nari is still standing there in the Maw, corporeal as usual. What could be missing?

What I ended up finding I had missed was all of the "stay awhile and listen" conversations up in the Arbiter's area, after witnessing the judgment of Sylvanas. The NPCs like Baine and Greymane have little white text bubbles over their heads, indicating there is an un-listened-to conversation. Once I listened to them all, I went back to Ve'nari and she was just a hologram. She had an extra dialog option, which I chose. I then returned to the Creation Catalyst in Zereth Mortis, and her corpse was right there in front of the console.

Hope someone finds this helpful!

Here's the printout of "Access Ve'nari's Rules Archive:"

Rule 1: Always have an exit strategy. To ensure one's continued existence within the Maw, one must maintain a plan of escape at all times.
Rule 2: Keep a low profile. The Maw is no place for theatrics. Get in, get what you want, and get out... while endeavoring to retain your limbs and other possessions.

Rule 4: Maintain a list of those who might wish to end your existence. Do not flatter yourself; your presence on this list is among the least of the Mawsworn's functionaries.
Rule 5: Be audacious, when the situation demands it. The Mawsworn rarely expect this.
Rule 6: Implement new concealment measures regularly. The Mawsworn never stop devising new ways to find us.
Rule 7: Betrayal is inevitable, even from those close to you. Especially from those close to you.

So, just so I am clear, here is what I have learned to unlock this toy:

You have to have done the 9.2 campaign fully.
You have to activate every "Stay a while and listen" conversation after the trial of Sylvannas.
Be Appreciative with Venari.

I am getting the sense that the engineering thing is optional. Do you HAVE to have engineering as a requirement?

Is there anything else beyond that?

When learned, click on it in your collections tab and a device shows up in front of you. You can click on the device and it gives you questions that you can ask it.

Received this item in my inbox today. It's been well over 5 days since I clicked Ve'nari's body in Zereth Mortis though. That must've been within a week after 9.2.5 launched (over 3 months prior to this post). Had long maxed out her reputation. Not an engineer. Unclear as to what triggered me receiving the item after all this time.

As engineer, without goggles, clicking Ve’nari’s corpse in Zereth Mortis resulted in quest ID 65488 being flagged as completed.

No idea though if this quest is sufficient for getting the toy. (Can tell in 5 days or so.) I also got the additional engineer gossip option the first time I clicked the corpse.

Friend was unable to get her to turn purple until he hit Appreciative AND did her final quest, Règle n°7 : la trahison est inévitable.

Note: he had previously done the "Stay Awhile and Listen" conversation's that Phalock mentions so can not speak to the need for those.

just received this after completely forgetting to check in on the last tidbit of Ve'nari's story. love this item giving us her voice lines (one of my fav VAs/chars for SL) and love that her story continues on someday, even better with the Eternal Traveler as her guide!
