Bonjour,

Cet outil permet d'avoir des Âmes enfermées utilisées pour le craft de Jouets, composants d'artisanats ...
Après le siphonage d'un élémentaire Elite d'Air, d'Eau, de Terre ou de Feu, on obtient une de ces Âme :

Âme aérienne enfermée
Âme givrée enfermée
Âme flamboyante enfermée
Âme terrestre enfermée

Sans oublier 4 mascottes :
Esprit de trombe
Esprit des marées
Esprit de poussière
Esprit flamboyant

Et des éléments éveillés, 2 à 3 !
Air éveillé
Feu éveillé
Terre éveillée
Givre éveillé

Ces élémentaires sont dissimulés un peu partout, voir les commentaire anglais.
Ceux des donjons, des évènements tempétueux ou certain dans le Rêve permettent aussi d'avoir des âmes, testé dans les Salles imprégnées.

Une fois l'âme récoltée, vous avez deux possibilités :

Attendre les 15mn pour récupérer l'Âme à coup sûre.

ou bien

Avoir des éléments éveillés : air, eau, feu ou terre et garder "une chance d'avoir" une Âme d'un des éléments.
<!> Donc, extraire les éléments éveillés ne garanti plus d'avoir l'âme après les 15mn

Pensez quand même à maintenir la touche Majuscule/Shift avant de cliquer !

Pour les mascottes, il faut atteindre la fin des 15mn, c'est uniquement en l'ouvrant que vous aurez une chance sur 50 d'en avoir 1.
Ceci même si vous avez récupéré les éléments éveillés !

Wasn't much information on how to actually obtain this item, so after scouring wowhead comments and some in-game trial and error, here is how you get a Frosty Soul (also relevant for the other types of Souls, eg Fiery Soul etc..)

1) You need a Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler (can buy these from AH)
2) A few "Empty Soul Cage" (off AH again)
3) Find an elite water ele (i used the ones in the south of Azure Span)
4) Channel the Zapthrottle as the elite is dying - must die whilst being channeled
5) You will receive an "Encaged Frosty Soul" - DO NOT OPEN IT. Leave it alone for the 15minute conjured duration
6) Once the 15minute timer expires, it will turn into a "Docile Frosty Soul" - you can now open it
7) There is a CHANCE (not sure on the %), that it will contain the Frosty Soul. if it doesn't, repeat step 1-6 until the Docile one contains the frosty soul :)

2. Optain 1x Cage d’âme vide created by Joaillerie
3. In Travée d’Azur: /way #2024 58.2, 66.6
4. Channel 4sec Inhalateur d’âme Zappeur-Gazier on Revenant éveillé, 30sec before it dies.
5. Cage d’âme vide transformed into Âme givrée enfermée.
6. After 15minutes it changes to Âme givrée docile, which can be looted to get 1x Âme givrée

Same will do for:
Âme flamboyante
Âme aérienne
Âme terrestre

In order to capture a soul with Cage d’âme vide (crafted by Joaillerie), the elemental must die while casting Inhalateur d’âme Zappeur-Gazier (crafted by Ingénierie). The best method is to use dots, as well as stuns to prevent any abilities that may interrupt the cast. Once you receive the soul. do not open the item until the "Encaged" turns into "Docile", which will happen once the 15-minute timer expires. Docile souls may contain pets, but the majority of the time it will contain the elemental crafting reagent,

A good place to farm these at the cave in chromie portal, where you loot the chest, while waiting an elemental spawn outside the cave, pull it and let others kill it while you wait ez.

Pretty easy to get as a Warrior - Make sure you have the required items (Empty Soul Cage, made by a Jewelcrafter - and the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler made by an engineer).

Start by finding the "Force of the Springs" enemy, located in Ohn'ahran Plains, coordinates are 55.16, 76.60 at the Ohn'iri Springs in the southern part of the zone. Get the mob down to about 25% health and wait for it to cast Elemental Edema. Before the cast goes off, press Spell Reflection and then immediately start channeling the Soul Inhaler - The mob will kill itself for you, and grant you the Encaged Frosty Soul item as long as it died while you were channeling. Wait at least 15 minutes before right clicking the item to open it, and you will be given the Frosty Soul.

So, I can say for certain that many of the big elementals in the raid work for the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler, I have gotten Airy and Frosty souls. No luck on the Earthen ones.

At the western side of the lake, there's a small friendly group of Imbu Protector/Pinescout/Waterseer/Bakar that can help you to kill mobs, just start to channel at 15% and they take it down for it.

Been playing WoW for 18 years... I just created a WoWhead account to say that this is the WORST mechanic I have ever seen implemented in a game for farming crafting mats.

For those having a hard time with these, there are two packs of Tuskarr in Imbu with an Revenant éveillé near them that will help dps said Revenants. They do a decent amount of damage and have a knockback. Just pull threat and run to the group and they'll automatically engage.

(/way 60.5, 65.9) is probably the best for this as it has the most npcs to help. West of the pack there should be a Revenant pathing up and down a hill.
(/way 56.6, 64.5) is a good backup if the first one is already dead. The relevant Revenant is down the hill at the base of a waterfall to the south.

They made collecting a Frosty Soul trivial on my arcane mage alt.

AFTER capturing this, It must becomes a Docile Frost Soul after the 15 minute timer expires !

*** AND ***

IT GETS WORSE... there is a nasty 15 minute cool down once you acquire an encaged frosty soul .... WTF ...
So farming these are horrific.....

EVEN WORSE ... If you haven't used your Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler before, its not "Equipped" yet, and thus the first elemental you engage you have to pop the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler for the first time on the target, in combat with it, AND click the BIND ON EQUIP popup or you will not be able to use it to capture a soul. The only good news is you can do that early in the fight but because you do so, you will have to wait 30 seconds for it to COOL DOWN before you can use it again, REMEMBER you have to use it late in the fight WHILE IT DIES before you can capture the soul, so this makes equipping it first time, very important and trickier than you would imagine.

All of these reasons makes getting a frosty soul for your shoulders or whatever very terrible ! ... I despise developers who make evil mechanics like this ...

Somehow it gets worse - I captured a frost soul a while ago and I couldn't turn invisible on my mage for some reason - the only thing I thought of that could do this was this soul in my backpack, and once it became docile, lo and behold, I could cast invisibility on myself again. Blizzard, I am speechles :D

Hands down the WORST DESIGN EVER. Took 20 minutes of trying to get the thing to soul bind, then clicked the cage too soon and didn't get item I need. Thanks BLizz, for proving you're an indie company, just trying to get by.........

The frost elites at The Azure Span where you do the weekly WQ For Imbu drop these. Elemental Storms can also spawn here as well.

So I just did this on my Protection Paladin and it was really quite simple. I just needed fiery and frosty for legs I was making myself. Fiery guy is a pain because he kept interrupting the cast. That was until I realized I could just cast it at like 1-2% and let my consecration /divine toll finish the mob off. Same thing with the frosty guy. If you are having any sort of issues, just dot them heavy and right before they are about to die, use the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler and you are good to go. Waiting 15 minutes between may seen like a lot, but I did some other farming on the area while I waited. Both cages, 1st time produced the souls.

Good luck to all! If you are having issues, maybe bring a friend to help.

For those unaware and complaining:

You do NOT need to channel as they die. Complete the channel, kill them within 30sec of the channel being completed, and viola. You have your soul. Super easy.

Second Pro-tip: Read the tooltips of your items better.. the Soul Inhaler explains it pretty clearly.

The Frosty souls DO NOT come from the Awakened Revenants. I keep getting Airy Souls from them, not Frosty. Does anyone know where the Frosty's come from?

You can get the four souls on Azure Span, and even better, two on each subzone:

Imbu (Airy and Frosty Soul):
/way #2024 58.2, 66.6 Water Elemental and Awakened Revenant
Water Elemental gives Airy Soul
Awakened Revenant gives Frosty Soul

Vakthros (Fiery and Earthen Soul):
/way #2024 78.6 38.8 Fire Elemental and Elemental Punisher
Fire Elemental gives Fiery Soul
Elemental Punisher gives Earthen Soul

Instead of going across all Dragon Isles like most of these posts say, just stay on Azure Span on two zones near each other (Didn't see info on other posts about either Water Elemental nor Elemental Punisher, so just tested it)

Frosty soul. Easy if your character can kill elites.
Coords approx 57 66 in Azure Span in the waters around the island. Revenants will eventually offer frosty souls after processing.
You need to use Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler when the mob is below 50% health (or less maybe), else you'll be waiting for 45 secs for the spell to reset. Make sure you're also carrying Empty Soul Cages. I noticed that the Encaged Frosty Soul doesn't appear in your inventory until you completely kill the mob.
Once you've captured its soul, it takes 15 mins before the loot converts to Docile Frosty Soul. Once its at this stage you can click on it to give you Frosty Soul.
You can't take another soul until the full process completes.
From this location I also gained an Encaged Earthen Soul from a stone elemental. Plus several Dreamsurge coalescents during dreamsurge event in Azure Span. All useful :)

Here is the least complicated comment.

If you're not an engineer, go to the AH and buy:
1 x Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler
1 x Empty Soul Cage

Once those two things are in your bags, go to Azure Span and kill an Awakened Revenant.
Coords: 58,66

At about 50% of its health right click the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler.
It will channel for a few seconds. Let the thing die.
Once dead, and still targeted, right click the Empty Soul Cage.

DO NOT CLICK IT before the 15 minutes is up. If you do, you'll just get an Awakened Frost.
WAIT OUT THE 15 MINUTES. Once the time is up, click the cage, and you'll automatically have the Frosty Soul.
