The real question is, does this benefit from spell damage gear like Cloak of Fire used to, if so this is the ultimate Faxmonkey item- get loads of mobs to attack you, pop this, ice block and watch the immense damage.

it's not affected by spelldmg and the dmg is dealt when a mob hits you - like retribution aura

I used to use this for tanking Fankriss adds in AQ40. Man, this trinket could pump out a heap of damage with all those bugs hitting you.

Things that increase damage by percents affect this, such as Improved Sanctity Aura (2% more damage) and Stormstrike (20% nature damage) - good thing is, that this item does not take charges from Stormstrike.
