these are used to get friendly rep with the sporegarrs , i suggest , that you gather around 50 of those , then do the quest The Sporelings' Plight (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9739) and More Spore Sacs from the same npc until you are pretty close to being friendly , then kill a few bog lords to get on the border on becoming friendly (they all give 15 rep) then just hand in this quest and start questing for sporegarr , this will sve you a bit of farming for rep , maybe 1k or so , maybe more depending on how you do it

These can no longer be sold or traded. My level 1 banker tried to mail them to another character, no joy.

i just turned in 10 and now i can no longer collect them, does any1 know why?

Indeed this is not working anymore. Instead, you can get Les chapeluisants and farm Chapeluisant for it.

As of this time, I am able to continue collecting these after completing the initial quest, so they appear to be fixed.

It seems like they "unfixed" them after the last maintenance Jan. 25th. I had farmed quite a few and put them in the guild bank, but they actually show "Binds when picked up" in the bank now. I couldn't take them out with one toon that had completed The Sporeling's Plight, but with another that hadn't I was able to put them in my bags. Of course now they're soulbound.

I've done all the Sporregar quests and I can still collect Mature Spore Sacs but no-one there wants them and I don't know what to do with them. Any suggestions would be welcome.

They're soulbound now and once you reach friendly with sporegarr they become useless. Can't sell them either. they're a lot easier to get for rep than the tendrils tho for less credit. I made the mistake of turning in the tendrils which put me into friendly before turning in all the sacs. so I wasted about 20 min or so...
