This is a fishable item in the Outlands. Mr. Pinchy, named after Homer's pet lobster from the Simpsons, grants the bearer three wishes on a two-day cooldown. The wishes can turn out good ... or very, very bad. On the good side, you can receive a crawdad non-combat pet, a "Benevolent Mr. Pinchy" temporary combat pet, a box of potions, or a free two-hour death-proof 1200 health buff! If Mr. Pinchy is not in a good mood, however, you might have to fight a level 60 or 70 version of him. Three charges. Requires 430 Fishing. Drop rates for this are extremely low, and the pools in which this spawns are even less abundant.

After catching Mr. Pinchy (See under Mr. Pinchy here on Wowhead), one of his possible rewards is this Mr. Pinchy's Gift. There will be 4-5 Super Healing Potions, and 4-5 Super Mana Potions in this. In other words, you will get at least 4 of each, but you might get 5 of one, the other, or both instead. this seems to be the most common result of Mr. Pinchy's Wishes.

This can only be fished in Highland Mixed Schools, these can only be found in 3 different lakes terrokar forest, check the map to see wich ones.

The droprate is extremely low and you need 430 fishing to fish the pools.

Edit: Catched it after 81 succesfull catches, 1st charge i used rewarded me the pet :-)

It would seem that this has been updated to drop Runic Potions now. I was shocked to find 6 Runic Healing, 6 Runic Mana and also 6 Potions of Speed. It was as if I had dinged 80 again.

Not entirely sure if this is new to 3.2, but no-one had mentioned it.

doesnt matter what fishing skill you have, the chances are the same. been changed a few patches back. im pretty sure you can fish anywhere with any skill, lures are just for show.

This item is from if you use Monsieur Pince-mi with full bags. I opened it and got nothing. Sent in a GM ticket, and they know it it bugged but won't do anything. Screenshot submitted to show.

Edit: This only applies to Monsieur Pince-mi. Opening Cadeau de M. Pince-mi is NOT dependent on bag space (as showed by below poster Viruzzz) It doesn't matter how much bag space you have because the gift is still bugged and has a high chance to give nothing.

Got it in under 10 min. of fishing at Blackwind Lake in southeastern Terokkar Forest. Got the pet first wish.

Seems like Mr. Pinchy need a bit update due new patches .

It's a really cool and epic item , but you should agree , that wishes assortiment should be increased .

Monsieur Pince-mi will randomly give you one of the following with each of his three wishes:
* Bénédiction de M. Pince-mi
* Cadeau de M. Pince-mi which can contain up to five of: Potion de super-soins, Potion de super-mana, Potion de soins runique, Potion de mana runique, and/or Potion de vitesse
* Caisse d'écrevisses magiques containing Ecrevisse magique

* Le furieux M. Pince-moi
