It doesnt say so on the item, but the Phase hunter needs to be at 30-35% health before you can use it

ok so i desided to go back and do all them quest i missed.

so to cut a long story short im now standing at the quest sight but naked looking though my Engineering seeing if there is anything that i can make that wont one shot the mobs :( i tried out using cobalt frag bombs as it said they only do 770 -1040 damage that overkilled the mob by 17k so at the min im looking at other option im just about to try to weakest think i have Rough dynamite and hope this dosnt one shot them who know been 90 was going to make questing so hard :( im only 30 too high.

EDIT: so Rough dynamite just overkilled a 3820 hp phase hunter mob by 1456 :( ok im lost im out of ideas if anyone knows how to not one shot them please let me know.

EDIT 2: so in the end the only think i could do was kill myself and get ress sickness and even then i needed to be butt naked or i was one shotting them.

What an annoying quest!

I had to unequip my trinket because when I would enter combat, the Phase Hunter would die. I read the combat log to see what was causing it and unequipped:

Once I figured that out, I had to reduce DPS in order to get these below 30-35%, which this gets them to 10% or something:

So, run up to the Phase Hunter so it aggros, hit it with foam sword, then hit it with the Battery Recharging Blaster quest item and you'll see the creature get zapped and shrink. Now kill it for quest credit.
