no! do not discard it! its werry usefull in the rebuilding the staff chain, starting with http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10173 at the 4.th part ( http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10188 ). i would never done it so fast without.. u can search for her totaly undisturbed and have good time to plan how to pull her an exelent item.

Before handing in the quest, just debuff it and rebuff.
That way you can sneak past all the outdoor guards easily for the follow-up.

You probably can keep this indefinitely if you don't mind having a quest in your log forever. It lasts for 10 minutes, has a 1 min CD and infinite charges. As soon as you hand in the quest or abandon the quest, it disappears though.

If you get to far away from the place it will tell you that you must be in that area to use it. I thought about tryin to keep it but no use, unless you just like wandering around the one area.

Fun fact: stealthing while wearing this disguise will sometimes change the model used, effectively changing your hair color from blond to black or vice versa.
