Will this pattern drop only in normal mode or in heroic mode as well?

Well, i've seen the Nature Armor Kit pattern drop off Menuu the Betrayer in Heroic, so i'd guess it stands for all other BoP patterns aswell.

Arcane/Flame Armor Kits drop in normal mode, and since Steamvaults is a level 70 instance unlike Slave Pens, I think it's from normal.

Confirmed drop on Normal fire had dropped for me on Heroic so it has to be both ...

This just dropped for me off the second boss in Black Morass on regular mode. Apparently it drops there as well.

I've seen this drop on both normal and heroic modes.

confirmed drop 25th dec. 2011 on normal mode. Took me around 20 kills though. But good way to grind cenarion expedition aswell.

With the removal of resistances this item has been removed from the game as of 5.0.4
