It appears that this and similiar patterns can drop off any trash in TK/SSC but that bosses have a much higher/guaranteed drop rate, eg, similiar to Azuregos who often dropped BoE plans like Lionheart plans even though they were a world drop.

Remember, the plans are BoP, the item is BoE.

Strange enough, shows like they only drop in SSC(not SSC/TK), but yesterday it dropped for me in TK trash.

I still recommend any Blacksmithers who have this pattern or know someone who does, to invest in it. Currently on AH prices on my server, Exodar, the price to make one is only 250g. That's a huge upgrade for any low 70 to lvl with to 80 as dps. Same goes for the Belt of the Guardian, I recently made it for my friend who decided he wanted to go prot(warrior) through to 80, so he can tank in dungeons. it'll be awhile till he gets a better belt till around mid-upper 70's.

go ahead and blow the mats, its a kick ass belt, its well worth it, especially if u stock it with new rare gems. I personally just stocked it with 2x http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40014

True, it is dropping from Tempest Keep trash too.

The best wasy to farm the trash before Alar then turn east toward Solarian and continue there. There are 5 packs to do easily, they have quite low HP. The 2 patrol going around Boss is a bit tricky need to kill Nether Scryer fast, otherwise it will cast his Domination spell that will controll you for 8 sec, while the group reset and you need to start it over.

The trash around Void Reaver is not hard, just they are going down slower. As a tank and dps paladin at L85 in Fireland gear the last groups toward and inside Kael'thas Sunstrider doable, but a bit harder. Need to kill them fast, beacause they stun you, make aoe wirlwind and shoot arcane spells. Be careful, easy to die there.

Good luck farming the plans, it took me like 8-10 runs to get both BoP plans there.

Dropped today for me in "The Eye" while I was trying to farm Plans : Gantelets gangrefurie. Not sure who dropped it as I was pulling everything around Grande astromancienne Solarian at the time. Took about 5 runs.
