After killing Anetheron (2nd boss of Hyjal) 5 mines spawned each with 1 epic gem in them and the usual blue/green gems. Once I get some more info on this ill update what they can be mined from. Possibly after completing each section of Hyjal these spawn? Not sure.

I'm curious how much these typically sell for if anyone knows. It's kind of a free market with a varying supply and demand, but I'd love to know how much Nihilum or some other guilds sell these BT gems for if anyone knows. :)

Chances are you wont see these for sell, even rarly, for at least a year, as with firey cores and elementium ore in pre bc, guilds will hold on to these and strictly control who it goes to. if you do see 1, expect to pay a outlandish price for it, like 3000+ gold

Prior to 2.4, this gem could only be found in Hyjal Notes and BT Trash.

As of 2.4 this gem is also available from...

The Black Sack of Gems which drops from Magtheridon (100% drop chance, and contains threeepic gems and two rare gems).
Shaani, an SSO NPC that spawns in Phase Three, in exchange for 15 Badges of Justice

Required a couple of these for a tier 5 set I wanted to finish; rather than worrying about solo'ing BT or Sunwell trash you can now purchase them from Shaani at the Isle of Quel'Danas for 220 Justice Points I discovered.
