Can still be useful to dispell poisons at level 70. For example it does dispell the poison from the Tainted Elemental on the Vashj encounter.

I also dispells rogues poison for example Crippling Poison, now the poison itself is level 50 but for the normal dispelling it uses the level of the weapon it was applied on so in many cases this will still be level 70.

Perhaps a small oversight from Blizzard. Use to your advantage.

As mentioned above, it's a elixir, it does not shary any cooldown but the global cooldown for elixirs and it does not remove your Battle or Guardian elixir (since this elixir is in neither category)

Edit: it seems blizz fixed this, it's now a potion and will initiate the 2 min cooldown on potions. Well it was great while the fun lasted.

This was renamed from Elixir of Poison Resistance to Potion of Curing in 2.2. Probably due to the fact that, around patch 1.7, its effect was changed from granting poison immunity for a minute to removing four poisons.

This item is still listed under "Elixir" in the Alchy tab. My alchemist is elixir specced and was able to make multiple potions from one cast.

Edit: Stacks as high as elixirs as well.

If you can get your hands on this alchemy potion while leveling alchemy this is an ideal potion to skill. Large Venom Sacs usually can be found en masse for an extremely cheap price on an auction house in my experience from people just looking to make a bit more then the vendor cost. Even asking in trade might result some free ones being sent to you. The use of Bruiseweed makes this a cost effective recipe. You usually can sell these to people who may be questing, or use them yourself.

The cooldown isn't as great as it once was; but it still does a pretty nice job for WSG flag runners, or people who have to grind spiders or scorpids for a while (like Shimmering Flats) and they don't want to wait a few minutes to take off the poison.

This potion was originally an elixir that would cure poisons and make the consumer immune to poison effects for one minute. This is why it still shows up in the elixir category for Alchemists.

With that in mind level 14+twinks can clear hunter and rogue poisons with ease, not relying on a dispel classes. With an abundance of Large Venom Sacs one can make both
Anti-Venoms and Curing Potions and free themselves from rogue poisons,hunter stings the list goes on. Yes, you can use both , they don't even share a GCD! A 24 twink can potentially use Cleanse, this potion and an antivenom.3 ways to escape rogues! OP OP

Unfortunately after 75+ its useless since rogue poisons are "too high level" and there is an exponential increase with chance to fail.

with battle-pets being tradable ,you can also pop Minuscule sporoptère for 1k+gold apiece on the AH. So its a double edged sword. Do you want an easy gold or have a little easier time pvping against rogues?
