This item is probably the greatest thing to happen to the world since Total cereal and i dont want to see it nerfed.
I cry myself to sleep at night because of how much i love this item... Please let me keep it

Fixed in Tuesday 1/19/2010 maintence, can no longer use (I imagine) outside the quest area.

The reason this was hotfixed was most likely thanks to me and a friend, I made some gold out of this though, here's the story:

Two weeks ago we found this and realised you could use it anywhere, I eventually found out if you are lagging you can shoot more than 1 at a time, I assigned this to my 1 button and with the help of a program called auto mouse, some torrents and several youtube videos loading, this gave me enough lag to shoot off 100 at a time.

The auto mouse program was spamming 1 and left click for me, so I could shoot off many at a time with lag, my friend also did this and together we wreaked fiery havoc and destruction upon crowded areas, namely Dalaran and Orgrimmar Auction house, we called ourselves The Fire Lords.

The amount of fireballs we shot at once caused severe screen lag which annoyed many people, but others also found hilarious, everyone asked me how I did it and I charged them 500 gold for me to tell them, which a few paid.

This morning it was unfortunately hotfixed, which was a severe nerf to my fun had in the game.

Anyway, that was my story of how the Fire Lords came to be, and their demise.

On the Venture Co. US server there was something of a flame-month in Dalaran. Basically people started telling other people where to get an amazing item like this and soon dalaran was on fire, both horde and alliance had a shooting contest. It was fun while it lasted.

Or instead of a cast time just a GCD. So it would be instant cast and usable while moving.
