Confirmed, I was grinding them for about 2 hours and got this off the Alchemists.

Can someone confirm this item dropping multiple times. Both enchants that drop in this area dropped for me about 30 minutes into farming, and now 2 hours later I still haven't gotten it again. The enchants do not say unique, etc.

Drops of Cult Alchemists, I've gotten 3 from 140 kills = 2% droprate.
Every time it has dropped, I have sent it to an alt. Dont think they drop if you have learned the formula, or if you have it in your inventory or bank.

Happy farming, go get them and sell on AH before they go BoP.

Made 200 loots of the Cult Alchemists with a char without enchanting without seeing the formula.
I'll try again when my enchanting char is lvl 80 to see if that goes better

Confirmed, drops from the alchemist. Got it after 30 min. And it's now BoP. Haven't got the frost yet.

Here are the mobs that drop resist recipes for Alchemy (mighty protection potion), Enchanting (cloak enchant), and Leatherworking (fur lining):

Damned Apothecary (Frost)
Cult Alchemist (Nature)
Cultist Shard Watcher (Shadow)
Skeletal Runesmith (Fire)

All the Enchant Cloak - Superior Nnnnn resistance recipees seem to have a peculiar drop pattern, watch out if you want to farm them for reselling:

1: They will only drop to enchanters even though they are not BOP and can be sold on AH (for quite good money).
2: They will not drop for you when you have learned the enchant (i have looted +thousand Damned Aphotecaries and Cult Alchemists levelling pets and i got nature and frost resitance in about the first hundred, none after i learned it 1). The same may apply if you have in inventory
3 : Drop rate is about 1% (or chance to drop is 1:100, hope for lady luck but be prepared for the worst).Never tried Frostbrood though, probably better drop rate but worse to grind.

I think that this Formula: Enchant Cloak - Superior Nature Resistance does actually have a very low drop rate for non enchanters. However, I think if you are an enchanter the drop rate increases ALOT until you have picked up the enchant for yourself, thats if you have it on your person, whether thats in your bag or bank. If you mail to an alt or give to a friend, you can loot again! I plan on confirming this with a GM later, I'll post back if i get more info. But thats been my experience with this and other boe enchants that are mob specific. Also, it may be while an enchanter is in the group, the drop prioritizes, only letting the person with enchanting roll on it, so as to avoid ninjas, or people to benefit from the drop rate boost of an enchanter in group.

The farming of this formula is no joke. It took me over an hour. If you are working on getting all the IC zone formulas, leave this one till last.
It will take you an hour at minimum if you are not extremely lucky.

All other formulas that drop in this zone drop with in the first 10 minutes. This one is not like the others.

When you are farming this, it is prudent to kill the apothacary as well, as the forced respawn is tied to both mobs.

525 chanter. 85 frost mage farming build. i was hitting twice with lance and my elemental would single bolt them off assist and finish them off. crits would 1 shot or leave them for the pet to finish off.

This enchant and all 4 other Formula: Enchant Cloak Superior ******** Resistance have been removed from the game in 5.0.4. These are the ones that dropped from the Icecrown mobs. A GM confirmed this for me when I ticketed regarding auctions of these that I had up on patch night that were returned to me as a blank mail. I also checked my enchanting plans ingame and the 5 of them are no longer in the list.
