The crafting spell is greyed out in the UI.

I just had a team in Occulus and a skinner was able to skin the Centrifuge Constructs for these tubes. Has anyone else experienced this?

I farm the mechanicals outside of Ulduar/The Makers' Library for Relics of Ulduar, and on occasion (maybe one in 60-75 mobs) I can "reverse-engineer" one, which of course I can use to make a scope for free money. Most often I get vendor trash, I get quite a few Volatile Blasting Triggers as well, and on occasion I get Handfuls of Cobalt Bolts. Between the vendor trash, the occasional green-quality item, the Relics I get, and the engineering parts I reverse-engineer, I can make a fair bit of gold farming there. Alas, once the new patch hits and Jeeves can be reverse-engineered from Northrend mechanicals, my competition for those mobs will be insane. But for now, it's a nifty money-maker while I'm working on Sons of Hodir rep. Give it a try!
