Also great gem for ferals once they are at the arpen soft or hardcap, and getting close to the white critcap.

With Haste once again a great stat for Unholy DKs sub-specced Frost, these will replace Inscribed Ametrines as the yellow-socket gems of choice (where socket bonuses warrant doing so, of course).

From what the sims are saying, those with Shadowmourne could actually gem for Haste rather than Strength and save Fierce Ametrines for red sockets.

I'm a blood dps DK. As I geared up I started using Bold Cardinal Ruby. Even though I had better gear and several Bold Cardinal Ruby, my overall dps was going down! I started adding several of these and my dps went way back up! Strength is awesome and valuable, but for true dps don't forget your haste! ... cause it's damage per second, not just overall damage!
