This cannot be used in combat (No Bubble - Recall).

All the following CDs are separate:

- heartstone
- astrall recall (shaman spell)
- kirin tor ring
- scroll of recall

So, for me, as an inscripter shaman with the astrall recall glyph, I can have 10 heartstone-like functionality in one hour (1+5+1+3, in the order of listing). Quite impressive (comparing to a "normal" player, who has only one).

With Ghetto Hearthing being removed in 3.1... (It ports you to the nearest graveyard instead of your Home.) Here's hoping the Inscription requirement is removed, and possibly increasing the mats required to make these.

Perhaps I'm just terribly unimaginative, but I can't see the purpose of these so much since hearthstone was reduced to 30 min CD. I have rarely ever needed to hearth more than that. I might want to hearth more while leveling, but come Cataclysm, these won't be reliable anymore anyway.

If these were instant (or short) cast, I think it would really make this a more worthwhile profession benefit.

Where can i learn to make these level III scrolls? I tried Dalaran and Exodar inscription trainers and vendors so far and they don't have this. My insc skill is at 437/450.

Pre-level squish, the Scroll of Recall III stopped working reliably above level 80 (the level cap when this was introduced, hence why this item is missing the warning Scroll of Recall I and Scroll of Recall II have in their tooltips).

After the Shadowlands level squish, this item appears to act identically to the Scrolls of Recall I/II, being unpredictable past level 49 ( I only had a level 47 and level 51 to test this, so if I'm wrong, please correct me).

As of 10.1, Not sure if this is bugged, but it's not sending me to the same place I have my hearthstone. It instead sent me to The Crossroads in The Barrens...
