Like the Rough Hewn Plank from the quest Jack Me Some Lumber, I would like to know if you are able to loot more than 4 of these (8 for example), and keep them for when you repeat the Daily Quest another day?

You can find those at 73,73 while in Icecrown. They are used for the quest A Worthy Weapon. After you gathered 4 for the quest they disappear.

If you gather 4, and when you get to the lake you manage to loot the sword from a previous person, you can't keep the hyacinth's for the next time as they will disappear from your bag.

You can't pick these while being in a raid group, which is stupid since I want to be able to do this travel quest while I'm waiting for a raid to fill up.

As for 7.0.3 right now it seems you can not pick them up currently.
Not sure if and when blizzard will fix this :/

Winterhyazinthe bugged in 7.03 if you are in icecrown

You can only pick the ones in crystal song forrest, there are 3 nodes in the lake. Get those, wait for respawn (about 1 min) and repeat until you got 4.

As stated regarding post patch 7.3. You can find these in Crystalsong forest. At the base of The Decrepit Flow. From 69.26, 76.21 to 71.66, 74.54 I found 10 growing on the lower blue ice chunks. You may only take 4 for the quest. But there was no waiting for re-spawn as there were many of them to choose from.

Don't be like me and spend an eternity trying to find these in Crystalsong Forest. Go straight to the NE point of the zone. There's a lake there where you can find the flowers on the blue mountain rocks. Around 70.31, 75,22.
