There is a worn chest in Nightsong Woods in Ashenvale located at 54/35 which contained the "Iron Shaft" quest item for Raene's Cleansing Part 4 (1026) or http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=1026 . Withered Ancients drop rate according to WoWhead is 0-0.1%. The Withered Ancients drop the wooden key for this. http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=3919 .

This wooden key is also good for a chest in Ghostlands at 40/49 for Horde. It too contains a quest item. See: http://www.wowhead.com/?object=19022#contains for details.

The chest cannot be lock picked by rogues. However the ancients aren't too bad. lvl 27/28 mobs, but doable for me as lvl 24 rogue

the coordinates for the worn chest are 54.4, 35.4

For those without Coords, the glade is to the West of the road just before the Felwood border like the quest text says. The chest is amid a bunch of pillars.
