On peux y trouver de la chair de palourde relevée, des perles bleues, des perles iridescentes et des petites perles satinées, ce qui n'est pas mentionné ici! :)

dans l'ordre de frequence sur 98 palourde :
98 chair de palourde relevée
11 petite perle satinée
2 perle iridescente

il y a bcp de palourde dans l'instance les profondeurs de brassenoire et on peut aussi trouver des perles iridescentes dans les palourde geante (sorte de cofre a ouvrir) qui se trouve dans les zone d'eau

If you want to farm Tangy Clam Meat, id suggest the Murlocs in Hillsbrad, all along the southern shore, around ( 28 , 72 ). Just like any other murlocs, they are in close groups and respawn really fast. Drop rate is consistent with Wowhead's statistics. (About 40%)

These do not drop as constant as the naga to the west coast. These drop once in 4-5 kills. I would reccomend the melee/ranged (not spell). They drop clams once every 1-2 rarely 3 kills. Do not farm these for thick-shelled clams. They are not worth it. Both of them have the same health amount and they both have the same amount of power with their blows. The murlocs are in bigger groups and therefor much harder to kill. the naga are rarely in group of 2 or more. But are at the peak of your aggro range so you can keep killing and moving.

I've uprated your comment because it's a good tip for people wanting these clams at around level 35-45, if however your after them for some reason once you hit level 50+ you pack moe than enough punch at that level to blitz larger numbers of enemies at once, it's quite viable to run in and wipe out 4-5 murlocs at once. therefore the greater density and closer spacing of the murlocs makes them far supiriour.

However if your leve;ing cooking the best farming at any level is done by makking runs up and down the river killing snapjaws, nearlly a 1 in every 2 kills drop rate, and they drop turtle meat which you can use later to level your cooking even furthar.

Iridescent pearls (via the clams) have maybe one of the worst drop rates I've ever seen on something. 65 thick-shelled clams later, I have only tangy meat and 3 f'n lustrous pearls to show for it. Not one iridescent. I picked the perfect damn username.

also if you are upgrading cooking the turtle sometimes drop Raw Bristle Whisker Catfish () which you can cook

You can but the recipe for cooking them from the cook in Tarren Mill (IDK where to get it for alliance)

The Snapjaw and Daggerspine naga in Hillsbrad now drop this item again. Stay away from the Torn Fin murlocs, Small Barnacled Clams drop from then.
I'd say about a 20% drop rate for me personally

Finally got an Iridescent Pearl after 63 clams opened. Got two Small Lustrous in that time as well as the meat.

At the end of my experience I got 3 Iridescent Pearls. Second on came at 100 and the third at 105. Also finished with 3 Small Lustrous Pearls.

Yet another time tht makes me think production skills are useless.. for the players tht want to get this item w/o using a high lvl toon. eg: a lvl 19 tailering pat needs just 1.. by the time u farm this thing it has become a waste of time. . heck from all the posts i've read i'd put on 2-4 lvls just grinding. this is not the only item tht blizz has scruewd us with this sort of thing..it's the same way for all the profs. they don't want u to worry about low lvl (tht being anything below 400ish) made items of any quality .
I think like this and I hear a little Blizz voice in my head saying " just lvl fast. the only thing tht is relivent is high lvl pvp or end game content". at whitch point why would I spend 2 hrs grinding for an item I can sell for 10g when I can make tht in 10 min killing crud my own lvl.... very frustrating

I got 2 from the Nagas in Darkshore just doing the quests there. One popped a Small Lustrous Pearl. The other popped an Iridescent Pearl. Some crazy luck.

annoying how no mob in dustwallow marsh drops these.

Not sure what happened, but the loot table for this item for Dropped by is only showing mobs in Blackfathom Deeps now, plus Mutanus the Devourer in WC and Snapjaw in Hillsbrad Foothills.

What happened to all the murlocs and naga regular mobs? o_O

Murlocks near Scargil spawn in Hillsbrad Foothills are dropping these like crazy. About 20 min of waiting for Scargil landed me 14 thick shelled and 34 small barnacled clams.

Due to the extremely high prices on most high pop realms I went to farm these myself. The Naga on the coast of Hillsbrad Foothills worked perfectly, I was originally informed that only the Daggerspine Shorestalkers drop the Thick-Shelled Clams but after an hour or so of farming, I found that every naga has a change to drop the Thick-Shelled Clams. Definitely a suggested farming spot for horde or alliance.
