This could be useful. Tank pre-pots and then pulls. Thus being able to use a potion later in the run if needed after the 1 min cooldown finishes.

If this potion is buffed by Potent Poisons and/or Vile Poisons , it could be nice passive burst damage for Assassination Rogues in PvP.

Right now I have a Healing Potion macroed to Recuperate , but if you switched this in, you could do some extra damage while you build up combo points.

Found this to just be a gimmick potion to use for maybe trash packs/pvp as it does stack upto 5.

Stacks on the attacker up to 5 times
Does about 3050 Nature damage a tick when it reaches 5 stacks on the attacker
Refreshes the 5th stack each time the attacker hits you while the poison buff is still active on you
70% Proc Rate so it will get to 5 stacks.
1 minute cooldown

I would have to say it's a little better then what it initial appears having tested it once and got the above info. This was against a level 85 Shaman and I am level 83, so it might do more on if I was level 85, will test it when I am level 85. I guess it would be nice to chug on a big AoE pull for Tanks for extra threat or in PvP vs Melee for a bit of extra damage.

The whole point is that this is a reagent for the Cauldron of Battle. It is otherwise useless.

Potion mastery does give extra procs on this recipe, eventhough it's listed as "Other".

I dont think you guys quite understand the farming power of these potions. Pull a whole low level dungeon of choice and pop one of these potions everything dies. Although Wrath and TBC dungeons may require a little more effort. If the poison is not limited by internal CD then it is better than any AOE due to the fact that AOE damage gets limited after the 10th monster.

What I don't understand is why these things don't stack to 20. I mean, they count as Potion (seeing as they share CD), so why don't they stack to 20? Annoying to carry around half a 22-slot bag of these things for making cauldrons during raids.

Stupid question. How long does this last? For example do u drink it and then it lasts for 30secs so that the mobs can get 5 stacks? or is it for 1 minute? or does the poison spread to whoever is attacking you at the time of drinking it?

It just does not actually state how long it lasts for, only that the DoT lasts for 8 seconds.

Been testing this on Alysrazor for tanks...might stack with the 1000% DPS increase.

I have this in a macro with Medallion trink for PVP:

/use Gladiator's Medallion
/use Deathblood Venom

If you're trinking out of a surprise stun by a rogue or feral, their next hit on you is likely to make it so they can't re-stealth.
