What is so special about this is that it is an
- Alliance only
- quest reward
- which is not bind on pickup.

In short: a one-time opportunity for every Alliance character leveled this high to make some serious money in the neutral AH. Considering that I sell regularly the level 1 quest reward cooking recipe from Teldrassil and the level 4 from Azuremyst (both Alliance only, not sold by vendor) for 300-500g each in Booty Bay, I can see this going for 1k easily for some crazy Horde side Leatherworking collector. :)

Be interesting to see how the merged auction houses in 6.0 will affect buying and selling faction-only items like this.

People, despite what the 2 greedy posters have said, there's no need to buy this pattern via AH.

Since the release of the wardrobe system, you can do the quest as Alliance, learn the pattern, make the vest, equip it and thus you will add the item's appearance to the wardrobe system which then can be used to transmogrify it, regardless of faction side.

I see all this information which is great; but still have no idea, as Alliance, how to get the pattern. Please when posting don't just post the value, but post the way to acquire the pattern. For me the words "Quest reward" doest help much.
