The Bonewarders and Shadowwarders are found around 50,48 in the Angerfang Encampment. The Rods seem to drop fairly often off of the Bonewarders.

Definitely not 100% drop rate.
Drop rate is around 30%. You just got lucky.

Killed 3 Bonewarders and got 3 Rods. Horde Warlock - your results may vary.

Dropped more closer to the "boss", went first 10 kills with no drop of the Bonewarders. 1/15 from Bonewarders and 2/4 from Shadowwarders.

Remember the % of it's drop is not what it say on Wowhead since these mobs are killed by almost everyone and this item will only drop if you have the quest for it.

I know that it's a drop but where do you get the drop? (Continent > place > area)
