The locket's 'use' effect transforms you into a druid of the flame for 5 minutes with a 60 minute cooldown.

I got Médaillon taché par la fumée in the mail after getting the achievement ~~(undead rogue if that matters). Took the quest which required me to see Rabine Saturna in Moonglade~~. ~~So I when there & hit complete on his quest at which point I got error "You don't meet the requirements for that quest"~~

Edit: Now hotfixed & working as it should!

I did this yesterday on another character and quest chain worked fine.

Today I just got the exact same response:

"A Smoke-Stained Locket completed.
Received 8 Gold, 27 Silver.
You don't meet the requirements for that quest."

I had to wait 10-15 mins for the follow up to become available. Apparently he is bugged and someone else has to talk to him about Dire Maul before he unbugs (that is what I was told, not sure). Either way I finally got follow up.

If either you or someone else (if you can't) talks to Rabine about Dire Maul..then the quest chain will continue.

Wonder if you also have to be friendly with Cenarion Circle as well? My mage is not and I am unable to continue the quest chain. Will update once I become friendly with them :/

update... Still no quest and I am now friendly with them.

Had the same problem, while I was reading about it here a horde came up to talk to Rabine. Once he did that the quest showed up.

I found just talking to him myself a few minutes after to unlock the rest of the chain. I did talk about Diremaul at that time too. Hope this helps

Have not done this one yet. It would be kind of cool if it was like the low level Horde locket quest where you get to hear Queen of Undercity sing the Lament. of the Highborn

I found this locket in the Igneous Depths, near the lava's edge. It is not mine, and I know that it does not belong to either of the Arch Druids. Perhaps it belonged to one of the fire druids.

No matter who its owner, I have no use for it. Please take it as a small token of our appreciation for all you've done for us.

Then to ashenvale for more memories.
Then off to Leyara's sorrow.
Back to Molten Fount speak to Malfurion Stormrage to receive "Leyara's Locket"

I got this about a month ago. I didn't even have the chance to get to the glitched part everyone's complained about cause it disappeared from my inventory. Couldn't even submit first quest, so after contacting Blizzard, with no help and them just spamming me about "the glitch", I decided to abandon quest and just request for them to resend it. I dont think they even read anything I wrote, and just straight assumed I was having the same problem as everyone else. I still didn't receive it.

TL;DR
Item disappeared from inventory & blizzard treated me like a number. has still not fixed this for me.

Is there a way to get this item a second time if it gets deleted? I somehow lost or misplaced it and while the quest is still in my log, I cannot do the turn-in in Moonglade because I don't have the item to hand in.

You'd think if this item could be mailed to *us* so easily, we could just as easily forward it to Moonglade and save the trip...

Information on how to get the Toy Médaillon de Leyara:

This Toy is received from a short questline after you've quested a while at the Molten Front (Cataclysm).

You will receive a quest starter item Médaillon taché par la fumée via ingame mail after you have completed Dans les profondeurs

To check if you completed the prerequisite use this script: /run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(29203))
To check if you already started the questline from the medallion use this script: /run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(29298))
To check if you already completed the whole questchain and should have the key use this script: /run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(29311))

If you lost or deleted the item Médaillon taché par la fumée you can get it back from a GM.
