What is it?
Éclat de poterie pandarène is the ultimate supplement to getting through your Pandaren solves much quicker. To break it down:

It is an archaeological keystone that can substitute 20 fragments for each slot/socket you can place one into
Some archaeology solves will allow for up to three keystones to be used - open your archaeology pane and look for the empty 'sockets' that may appear at the bottom to determine how many you might be able to use
You are not required to use keystones when solving archaeological artifacts, but it certainly can speed up the process
There are some artifacts that will not allow for any keystones at all

Example:

Lance de Xuen = 180 Pandaren Archaeology Fragments; or
Lance de Xuen = 120 Pandaren Archaeology Fragments + 3 Éclat de poterie pandarène

Where do I get it?
There are only four sources for Éclat de poterie pandarène:

Digging - when surveying and digging at archaeological Pandaren dig sites in Pandaria you will have a small chance to occasionally see one of these along with the Pandaren Archaeology Fragments you collect. The following is a list of all known Pandaren archaeological dig sites:
Pandaria
- Krasarang Wilds - Temple of the Red Crane
- Kun-Lai Summit - Muskpaw Ranch (Grumblepaw Ranch Digsite), The Ox Gate (Small Gate Digsite), Zouchin Village (Remote Village Digsite)
- The Jade Forest - Jade Temple Grounds, Greenstone Village, Tian Monastery, The Arboretum, Emperor's Omen, Tiger's Wood, Forest Heart, The Gong of Hope, Woods of the Lost, Den of Sorrow, Serpent's Heart
- Vale of Eternal Blossoms - Mistfall Village
- Valley of the Four Winds - The Heartland (South Fruited Fields Digsite)
- The auction house - being that these are brand spanking new, they're going to be expensive for a little while
- Dropped by Ancienne hantise - occasionally while digging in Pandaria, you may get sprung by one of these mobs, and killing them can net you keystones and fragments for either Mogu or Pandaren races (or relics for special hand-ins)
- Quests - occasionally while working towards finishing the common Pandaren artifacts, you actually end up completing a 'Pristine' version of the artifact instead. Hand in the subsequent quest at the Seat of Knowledge in the Val de l’Éternel printemps (there is nothing else that needs to be done) and you'll receive one Éclat de poterie pandarène and 3x Artéfact restauré (which is an archaeological currency for MoP).

- Echiquier pandaren can instead become Echiquier en parfait état which gives you Echiquier en parfait état
- Figurine incrustée d'or can instead become Figurine incrustée d'or en parfait état which gives you Figurine incrustée d’or en parfait état
- Service à thé pandaren can instead become Service à thé pandaren en parfait état which gives you Service à thé pandaren en parfait état
- Perle de Yu'lon can instead become Perle de Yu'lon en parfait état which gives you Perle de Yu’lon en parfait état
- Etendard de Niuzao can instead become Etendard de Niuzao en parfait état which gives you Etendard de Niuzao en parfait état
- Bocks jumeaux can instead become Bocks jumeaux en parfait état which gives you Bocks jumeaux en parfait état
- Canne de marche can instead become Canne de marche en parfait état which gives you Canne de marche en parfait état

What cool items can I use it for?

If you are an archaeologist then you can start digging at Pandaren dig sites (when they spawn) and speed up solving Pandaren artifacts.

Alternatively, if you don't want to use Éclat de poterie pandarène yourself, you can sell them on the auction house and make a neat profit.

There are two rare Pandaren artifacts:

Lance de Xuen requiring 180 fragments with 3x Éclat de poterie pandarène that can be used (my 3rd Pandaren solve)
Ombrelle de Chi Ji requiring 180 fragments with 3x Éclat de poterie pandarène that can be used
