These are needed to grow truffles for The Truffle Shuffle and can be harvested from after planting them in Skyrange and waiting about 5 - 10 minutes.

You can also find the already fully grown truffles scattered by the undergrowth near the trees in the area. However, I make a habit of planting my seeds first, doing the other dailies, and coming back since your seeds DO grow into collectible truffles about five minutes after planting.

I'd like to comment by saying that you don't actually need to shuffle to plant the truffles. You can sit there and spam your spore packet and all the mushrooms will grow in the same spot, allowing you or anyone else to harvest them without having to run around, saving you and everyone more time :)

Quest is currently bugged. I'm trying to do it for the first time on my panda monk and every time I try to use this item to plant a truffle it tells me I'm in the wrong zone. I know I'm in the right place because I've done this 1000 times on other toons.
*EDIT* Okay according to the quest page this is actually due to 8.3 changing the neighboring zone Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and the quest is doable by going to the very southern tip of the quest area and planting truffles there.
