Avec tomtom, voilà le chemin vers l'entrée des catacombes :

Par contre, il n'est pas forcément au même endroit dans les catacombes. Il faut chercher un peu.

Looted this in Niuzao Catacombs in Townlong Steppes, it gave me 357,500 xp (was level 88) and is a gray that as above vendors for 90g. No idea why it was there :/

I too just found this item in the Niuzao Catacombs. at level 89 it gave 431.2k exp, and that does use rested, so it gave me over 800k exp, for picking up a rock.
It was actually sitting right next to(Huggalon the Heart Watcher)

I too found it at Niuzao Catacombs, very close to Huggalon the Heart Watcher, 90g trash and lots of XP, can go towards getting the Yak Re forger mount! lol :)

I got all 11 other of these type of items and had no troubles finding any of them. I can't find this one, is it not next to Huggalon anymore? Either way i checked around the whole catacombs and couldn't find it.

Wasn't next to Huggy, so I looked around the rest of the cave and looted it at 55.3, 33.3 (Niuzao Catacombs).

Accurate Coordinates: Entrance to the Catacombs is at 32, 61 Townlong Steppes. The item is around the area of 41, 84 inside the catacombs.

To those having problems.. I found this next to the pool, but because of the darkness surrounding it, it's almost impossible to notice before you stand right next to it. Just check all the little "rooms" around the pool.

The experience gained by this and all other gray items like this one is based on your character level and so it would be more beneficial to pick them up at higher levels.

Looting this item gave me 782.000 xp at level 89.
Found it behind Huggalon the Heart Watcher in The Gastly Confines which is a part of the Niuzao Catacombs, take the path up instead of down to the Dread Shadow mob.

The Fragment d'effroi is located inside the object/container Fragment d’effroi, which may be found in Steppes de Tanglong inside the Niuzao Catacombs, due west of the Niuzao Temple. The entrance to the Niuzao Catacombs is located near coordinates 32.50, 60.10. This object has multiple spawn points inside the Catacombs, so be sure to look around for it. I found one at coordinates 48.49, 89.46. * Note that the coordinates change once you're inside the Catacombs, so go inside first, and then set this waypoint. *

To set a TomTom Waypoint:
/way Townlong Steppes 32.50 60.10 Niuzao Catacombs entrance
Next, go inside, and once you're well past the entrance, set this waypoint:
/way 48.49 89.46 Fragment of Dread

The Fragment d'effroi may be sold to a vendor for 90 Gold.

This find *does count* as a "Treasure of Pandaria": It increased my count of treasures found toward Les richesses de la Pandarie, so I assume that it also counts for Les trésors de la Pandarie, La fortune de la Pandarie and Le butin de la Pandarie.

There is a "FLAG - quest" ( FLAG - Fragment of Dread ) for picking up Fragment d’effroi, which means that you can only do it once per toon - ever.

Here's a little macro command that you can use to see if you've already opened it:
/run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(31423))
A result of true means that you have it already, and false means you haven't opened it yet.

I found mine inside Niuzao Catacombs near the ghastly confines. Once you see the entrance for the Ghastly Confines which is VERY noticeable, there will be a path to the right of it that travels up, make an immediate right at the top and follow it back to the very back. There will be an NPC named Huggalon the Heart Watcher, the fragment will be to the right of him.

Coords for my find were 64.71 ,21.66.

On my alt, I had found this in the first room with a small pool of water in the Niuzao Catacombs, but on my main, it was right next to Huggalon the Heart Watcher. Be sure to check ALL cooridinates inside of the cave, lest suffer frustration as I did. By the way - TomTom did not work for me. It said it was in the center of Sik'Vess, 1.2k yards away from the Catacombs. I had to find it on my own, so don't be discouraged. Either it was bugged, or I was!

For anyone confused by those instructions, the Catacombs are due "the other east" from the Niuzao temple in other words, they are WEST of the temple; down low on the west side of
the island. You'll want to fly to get there. I found it inside, a little beyond the pool with five little
spiky tiny paths around it. Some of those sha cast the illusion that you are almost dead; ignore it and just keep fighting as it passes in a few seconds.

I was finally able to get this treasure but it was difficult because it was under a Fear-Stricken Sentinel at 56.5, 64.3. I had to slowly move over the body until I could get the little gear icon. It was a pain :(, but I got it...lol

I found this hiding inside a ghost iron ore next to huggalon I dont know how people could have gotten it without being a miner I didnt get a cog symbol till after i mined the node

I found it at 36.6, 61.2 (inside cave coordinates) which is at the left side against a wall, before the first pool with the little terrorlings in it.

This item is inside of the Niuzao Catacombs, a cave on the south-western portion of the island that is home to Niuzao Temple. The coordinates for the cave entrance are 32.8, 61.7. The coordinates change when you enter the cave, so make sure you enter the cave first, before using the coordinates for the Fragment itself.

There are multiple spawn locations for the Fragment of Dread; the one that i found was at 48.5, 89.4 (looking at the map of the cave, the bottom-right "spike"). Looting the Fragment gave me a grey-quality Fragment of Dread, which vendors for 90 gold, as well as credit towards the "Riches of Pandaria" achievement.

If it is hidden by the ghost iron ore moving behind the node and mousing around will generally be the best way to find it.

There are at least 4 different spawn points for this item in the cave, but it respawns immediately after it's looted so just keep looking at the coors listed in these comments.
