Occasionally while working towards finishing the common Pandaren artifacts, you actually end up completing a 'Pristine' version of the artifact instead. Hand in the subsequent quest at the Seat of Knowledge in the Val de l’Éternel printemps (there is nothing else that needs to be done) and you'll receive one Éclat de poterie pandarène and 3x Artéfact restauré (which is an archaeological currency for MoP).

The location 'The Seat of Knowledge' for all hand-ins to Chroniqueur Cho is above the Palais Mogu’shan in the Val de l’Éternel printemps and can only be accessed with flying.

Getting ALL Pandaren and Mogu 'Pristine' artifacts will also earn you the achievement Le siège de la Connaissance.

It's also worth noting that while you can accept these 'Pristine' quests at level 85 (as soon as you get the quest item), you physically cannot reach the area you need to hand in at until you're 90 or unless you get a level 90 friend with a two-person flying mount to taxi you up there. You'll already know this, if you've managed to leg it into the zone (like me) and stood mere inches away from the hand in, with no ability to actually get to it. Lock summons can also do the trick here (this is also the part where we lament the good old days of mass summoning). Otherwise, be patient and wait till you're big and bad enough to do it yourself!

Be sure to read the nice plaque description of each pristine item once you turn it in for display at the Seat of Knowledge. The lore and backstory are interesting:

Twin Steins of Brewfather Quan Tou Kuo

A matching set of drinking steins, made of ebony and jade. Brewfather Quan Tou Kuo, "The Two-Fisted", sought to mitigate the side effects of strong drink by creating the perfect duality of brews. When imbibed together in the proper ratios, the Pale Ale of Spirit and the Dark Stout of the Mind combine in the drinker's stomach to achieve a state of enlightenment and goodwill without the loss of judgment and self-control so often experienced by less refined brews. Sadly, the Brewfather's secrets have been lost to time, but these lovingly crafted steins serve as a permanent reminder of his expertise.

Since there is a Quest for each pristine artifact, you can use a macro command to check if you've already completed each quest.

For the Bocks jumeaux en parfait état / Bocks jumeaux en parfait état:

/run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(31797))
A result of 1 means that you have it already, and "nil" means you haven't opened it yet.

Or you can go visit The Seat of Knowledge in The Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and stroll around the museum exhibit to view all your completed pristine artifacts.

Or (lazy bones) open your Achievements panel and view your progress on The Seat of Knowledge.

Pristine archaeology items such as this one do not count towards achievements like Aux trois pères brasseurs that require you complete a set of specific projects. You have to complete the "normal" version of each required project in order to receive achievement credit.
