So far from 6 of these I've gotten 0 items, and an average of 28 gold, give or take a few. Seems to be about a 25-33% chance of an item from these from what I've seen from guild mates.

Seems pretty rare to get actual loot from these things. I'm 1 for 7 right now.

Also, Wowhead only shows 4 items dropping from this thing right now, but that isn't true. I got cloth healing shoulders from a bag and the tank got a plate helm, both of which are not listed on this site.

This is the item you will get after completing a random scenario. Will always contain a small amount of gold and in some cases a blue item (item level is the same as from a heroic 5man instance). Did three scenarios yesterday, got two items.

I think the items can be from this table (all blues with item level 463 and random enchant):

First 3 Caches gave me 3 items, head, gloves and legs, all dps items so definitely not class specific.
After that i got only gold from it.

It could be possible that your highest ilvl item for a slot gets checked, if it's below 340 or something you could get an item... Not sure about this theory, I'll sell the 3 items I got earlier and see what happens. I'll keep you posted

Just out of curiosity, on the "Rewards From" tab in the money column, it shows VP with the gold... is that accurate? Do these actually give the VP listed?

An important thing to remember. In order to qualityf for the LFR, you need to have 463 in every slot. if you get the ´wrong´spec gear, keep it in your backpack anyway.

The items seem to be pretty decent, not up to par with heroic ilvl 463 gear, but still good if you don't have the time to run heroics all day long.

Has anyone gotten a piece of gear that was a lower item lvl than one they already had for that slot? I've opened probably close to 20 of these, and had lots of gear in the beginning but now am not really getting any. All the gear I've gotten has been a higher item lvl than what I already had for that slot. It could be just rng, since its not a significant number of opens, but would be nice if someone could confirm getting gear for a slot that already had a higher lvl equipped. Thanks.

Not only are the scenarios rather fun, but they can also help you get geared for a heroic. If you're lucky enough to get some gear from the chest, that is.

From what I have seen you can get the Cache even after you are Valor capped for the week. The only scenario I've done with guaranteed loot is for Arena of Annihilation. You get a quest for blue weapons in there. Hope this helps anyone.

I think this is glitched. I've run about 20 scenarios and got three drops. Each time it was Forgotten Bindings of the Galeburst which is class appropriate but the odds of getting the same exact item with the same enchant each time is suspicious. Anyone else running into this issue?

I've received an item approx. 1/3 of the time - this data is from about 15 scenario completions. At the moment, it's a quick queue time and most of the time you can complete a scenario in 15-20 minutes. If you need gear, it's a great quick way to break up dailies or the normal dungeon grind.

Based on personal experience, the item drop appears to be tied to your current item level. I have run 5 scenarios so far, 3 before i hit ilvl 435 and 2 after, 3/3 before 435 and 0/2 after. While not statistically valid, it appears a pattern may exist.

I`m a fury warrior and since today i did 43 scenarios and i got the following items from Cache of Treasures:

Greenstone Drape,
Greenstone Neck,
Greenstone Breastplate,
Greenstone Vambraces,
Greenstone Legplates,
2 x Greenstone Seal

and 24 - 30 gold for each run. I think it`s worth it more then dungeoun run`s. Waiting time it`s somewhere between 2-4 minutes and can be done in about 15 minutes.

The Greater Cache of Treasures replaces this item as a reward for a random daily scenario since Patch 5.1.
The difference between the two caches is that the new one can contain gear with an itemlevel of 450 (rare), 463 (rare) or 476 (epic). Besides of that there is no real difference.
