Dropped by Fixxul Lonelyheart ( a reare elite in Jade Forest).
At first glance it looks like simply a vanity item, but the on use is more than cosmetic.

Using the item gives you Bannissement incontrôlé for 20 seconds. It cannot be used in combat, but when used you can still continue to mount up and move as freely as you'd like.
For the duration of the buff (not debuff) you are immune to all damage, falling damage, enemy attacks, etc. Great fun for running out of a populated mob area when you're done questing, or running through an area without being dismounted.. plenty of fun uses.

Despite it's rather excessive limitations, only having 3 charges, only usable in Jade Forest, and not being usable in combat, it's worth picking up just for fun if you get the chance.

I got this item from Lorbu Sadsummon. Rare elite that spawns near the crashed horde airship near Honeydew village.

Interesting. As soon as I killed her, I tabbed over to see if there were comments on the warlock rare and this item. by the time I got back to the game, the rare mob had already respawned (no greater than 5 mins I would say)

The item says it, but just to repeat.. this item, while only 3 uses.. is also ´unique´. I was not able to even loot the second one even though the first one was down to 1 charge. After burning the last charge, the item disappeared and was able to loot it from the corpse.

Lots of useful uses for this item. Use it and you can run through hostile mobs.. 20 seconds a long time.

Just checked, and the mob is back again. seems to be just like a quest mob.

the two mobs who drop it are not rare (at least not as of 5.1) and have a short respawn timer. they're in the early quest areas for each faction

As of Patch 5.4 you can now use this item anywhere and can use it in combat, still only has 3 charges on a 3 second cooldown, meaning you can stay banished for 1 full minute

This and Cursed Talisman are amazing for the Greench daily if you're CRZ-ed with a dominant opposing faction on a PVP server. You can loot the treats and even have time to hearth!

After the 5.4 changes, this item has gone from overly situational to incredibly useful. It's particularly invaluable for avoiding ganks on PvP servers.

This item is rediculously broken on Tol Barad, a warlock ran from us for three whole charges of this item, before he used his hearthstone and left..... really? why does this not have any sort of cooldown?

This is especially amusing if you are a druid. Just watched a balance druid bother like 10 of us in Halaa, popped this and then either used Innkeepers daughter, or One with nature to bug out before dying.

This is virtually the best item you can use to stop gankers, when you use it you become completely Invulnerabe for 20 seconds, at this time you can Hearthstone, use Dimensional rippers, Wormholes ( except the Northrend one ) and Mage Portals! Whilst also as a pet class your pets can still attack!

It drops from Lorbu Sadsummon (for Horde) and Fixxul Lonelyheart (for Alliance).
Lorbu can be found on the cliff near The Wreck of Hellscream's Fist, while Fixxul can be found in Twinspire Keep on the right side, in Jade Forest.

And as of WoD, i believe this is almost required while leveling on a pvp server, it has saved my hunter's life a total of 7 times from level 100 gankers.
(KEEP IN MIND: You can NOT use this at level 100. This item only works from 85-99.)

You can use the Talisman to make bids on the Black Market AH - Very useful if you are bidding on a sought after item with the other faction trying to gank you and stop you from bidding.

Just want to say that to my surprise this actually works in Brawlers Guild.
I only tested it against two bosses though, Zen'shar and Disruptron and with both I took zero damage from their abilities.

This item works really well for doing heavily camped world events, eg: the dousing the horde wickerman in Undercity.

20 seconds is long enough to drop in, use the dousing item, and hearth out.

I'm all for a fair fight, but 50:1 isn't it.

It can be looted multiple times. But you can only own one at a time, as it is unique. So feel free to come back and get a new Talisman whenever you have used your three charges 😉
