Je n'ai pas eu le haut-fait (comme indiqué dans le tooltip) mais j'ai bien reçu le courrier avec le jouet.

Ce qui m'a le plus gêné dans ce "mini-jeu" sont les particules d'eau qui émergent de votre personnage de plus en plus en fonction des stacks, j'ai donc mis la densité des particules sur faible ce qui m'a bien aidé.

N'abandonnez pas aux premiers fails et armez vous de courage !

Cumulez 250 charges du debuff obtenu en sautant de geyser en geyser, dans la petite salle entourée d'eau dans laquelle vous arrivez une fois la cinématique de Lei Shen passée, après la défaite du Roi du givre Malakk.

Attention : une fois ces 250 charges cumulées, le Fusil à eau pandashan vous sera envoyé par courrier, mais aucun haut-fait ne sera validé puisque contrairement à ce que beaucoup disent, il n'y a aucun haut-fait lié à l'obtention de ce jouet.

Astuces :
- Les montures à plusieurs places peuvent vous servir à aider vos amis : ils cumuleront les debuffs avec vous.
- Ce n'est pas l'orientation de votre personnage qui compte, mais celle de votre caméra. Soulagez donc un maximum vos doigts, les 250 charges ne prennent que quelques minutes à obtenir, mais ces minutes paraissent bien longues... Pour un paramétrage par défaut, un clic droit constant sur votre souris convient donc, pas besoin de double cliquer. Pour ma part, clic droit constant + positionnement des mains sur les touches de déplacement du clavier AZES. En effet, régulièrement, vous devrez rapidement réajuster votre cap car vous tomberez de temps à autres un peu trop loin d'un geyser !
- Vous avez un druide ? Privilégiez cette classe : après plusieurs essais en forme humaine sur ma prêtresse, j'ai par hasard testé la Forme de félin sur mon druide. Peut-être que cela n'est qu'une impression, mais il semblerait que la forme de félin du druide permet plus de précision à l'atterrissage : vous aurez moins à galoper entre chaque geyser ! En forme humaine, mes sauts étaient souvent trop courts, ce qui n'était pas le cas en forme de félin. La forme de Loup fantôme du chaman devrait sans doute avoir le même effet. Par ailleurs, en cas d'erreur de trajectoire vous courrez plus vite jusqu'au geyser le plus proche et croyez-moi, lorsque cela arrive à la deux-cent-trentième charge, c'est salvateur !
- Reculez votre caméra, pour un maximum de visibilité.

Ne vous découragez pas : 250 charges paraissent inatteignables.. Mais il ne vous faudra que quelques essais pour prendre le coup de main. Bonne chance !

Pour ceux qui voudraient le faire en Légion sachez déjà que depuis WoD vous pouvez vous téléportez directement aux profondeurs oubliées ou se trouve le mini-jeu grâce à un des trois pandas au Siège de la connaissance (au dessus du raid Siège d'Orgrimmar), parlez à celui qui est le plus à droite.

Ça m'a prit environ 30-35mns du moment ou je suis arrivé dans les profondeurs jusqu'à l'obtention du jouet par lettre, sachant que je me suis fail a 245 et 215 stacks et que c'était la première fois que je tentais.

La canne à pêche légendaire ou tout ce qui peut vous faire marcher sur l'eau peut être utile, la fois ou j'ai réussi j'ai été dans l'eau mais j'ai pu me rattraper car j'avais la canne, sinon j'aurais été immergé et vous n'avez pas le temps d'en sortir (faites le en monture mais préférez les formes de félin/loup pour les druides/chamans c'est bien plus simple de se rattraper qu'en monture)

Ok, ok, ok. First of all I just want to say that I learned of the existence of this item (and of the means to acquire it) from a friend and I'll be ever so thankful that he did what he did and found out about this.

To obtain this item you must have access to the Throne of Thunder while having cleared at least up to and including Coun cil of El ders. Down bellow the bridge (after Lei Shen's cutscene) there is a circle of small geysers surrounding a larger, central one that leads you back up. These small ones push you forward and upward if you step on them (directed towards where you are facing), and doing so gives you a stacking debuff. In order to get this item you must be flung from one to another and accumulate 250 stacks of the debuff.

At first it seems like an evil, evil minigame. Typical of those you find in Final Fantasy games (rope jumping, anyone?), but in the end it is really not so hard, in a few minutes you can get all the stacks, even if you don't land perfectly on a geyser you have a small margin of time to walk over it facing the next one you need to get thrown at. Upon reaching 250 stacks you get the item mailed to you by Taoshi, I'll submit her letter to the screenshot section (I guess the Shado-Pan are more playful than we thought).

Things to take in consideration:

- Bubbling removes all of your stacks
- Bubbling yourself or someone else also removes all stacks
- Ice blocking removes all of your stacks

Up to this point it seems safe to say that any kind of invulnerability removes the stacks. Also be careful of your friends trying to ruin your attempts. This is something not to be done during raid time so, if you will, pick your true friends who desire this and go for it on your spare time.

About the item: it is account-bound so it obviously can be mailed between toons. If anyone would be so kind trying to find out if you can receive multiple instances of this item in the same account I shall amend my post with the info.

edit: confirmed by thebdc that you can get it multiple times per account.

Upon using the item you get a 5 minutes buff that gives you an extra action button to fire a jet of water in front of you (really, REALLY short-ranged, about 5-7 yards), leaving players it affects (and their pets) soaking wet. You become silenced while having the buff (although you can still walk and keep casting the stream) so mind that in case you want to prank your raid during a fight.

Final thoughts:

- Do not touch the operational end of the device
- Do not look directly at the operational end of the device
- Do not submerge the device in liquid, even partially (this might as well be inaccurate)
- The device is more valuable than the organs and combined incomes of everyone in - subject hometown here -

When you get your 250 stacks of the geyser buff, you will immediately get this hilarious item in the mail. The letter that arrives with it says the following:

Its noteworthy that this effect seems to stack...

I've gotten to 250(MAX) stacks after a while the effect starts to spread through the body, Starting at the feet, then the hands.
The stack effects are

25 = left foot
50 = right foot
100 = left hand
175 = right hand
250 = full body (Your body gets some sort of sparkly thing)
Then you'll receive a Shado-Pan Geyser Gun in the mail

If you have a two or three seater mount like Rênes de grand mammouth de guerre noir or Fusée de tourisme X-53 you can help other people to get the gun! The debufff is applied to everybody on the mount as you jump through the geysers.

Your character (while using the item) will always be holding it. This includes when your character is mounted. You cannot however use the action button while mounted.

Getting the Item Quick Tip
Planeur gobelin is usable and will not take away your steam debuffs. So when you get off-course, in an emergency (aka you're going to land in the water surrounding) you can use this item to glide back to a geyser.

This thing is pretty awesome.
It doesn't work the way it's intended when you use a costume. My GM has the murloc costume and it looks like he's spitting water at everyone. If you have Mr. Smite's Brass Compass it looks... well... naughty.
If you're using the Hozen Beach Ball it looks like you're spraying water through your shovel.

It's mentioned somewhere else, but yes, as of right now if you mail it to an alt the cool down resets.

For those interested, you can go into a cleared Throne of Thunder, and walk all of the way back to Tortos' area.

It's a straight walk all of the way back up until you get to Ji'Kun. At Ji-Kun, don't try and fly back into the tunnel you originally came up when clearing the raid - instead fly to the red portal in the middle of the platform.

Once through there, at Megaera, there's a geyser you can ride up to the top of his area - at which point you can mount and ride all of the way to Tortos.

This CAN be completed in LFR, so que up for the Forgotten Depths portion of Trône du tonnerre.

After the final boss, Ji Kun, is down, make your way back to the beginning of the instance. This can be easier said then done, so take your time. Don't get wiped out by a leftover trash mob, or you'll have to que up all over again! To find your way back, click one of the feathers left by Ji-kun, and fly up into the red portal that is floating in the air. This will set you back up on a bridge. From here, carefully make your way back, avoiding any trash mobs that may still be up, and geyser-jump to the upper levels as needed.

Once you're back at the beginning of the instance, prepare for quite a tedious amount of jumping. You can't make any mistakes here, or you'll have to start over. Use your right-mouse-button to keep your character's direction facing toward the next geyser. Since it's hard to line it up perfectly every time, you'll occasionally need to move slightly in order to touch the geyser and engage it.

After 250 successful geyser-jumps, you'll notice that your new-mail icon appears, as the message you get, which contains your new Fusil à eau pandashan, is instant.

The !@#$ing thing overshoots you randomly and then doesn't register you actually being on the geyser sometimes. It's the most frustrating thing ever when this happens. I literally just got to 245 and it just didn't register the geyser and the stacks fell off. The time before that I was at 169 when it &*!@ed up and didn't register in time.

If found this easiest by aligning the geyser pool you are about to land in with the one you're about to jump to next on a vertical line. Angle your camera with a top view and zoom out enough so the to dots are within your screen area. You will only have to make minor adjustments along the way. Strafing does not upset the direction you will jump, this is solely determined by which direction your character is facing. I hope this helps.

Must get stack up to 250 to get this item. Meaning 250 geyser jumps in a row. If I recall correctly, total time took roughly 10 mins. The item will show up in your mailbox after getting the achieve. I have found the easiest way to do this is to always hold your right mouse click, then simply turn your camera (Which in essence turns your body / direction you are facing) in the direction of the next geyser. If you want to be safe, turn yourself to face slightly inside the geyser every time, then side step into it, while still facing the direction you want to go towards the next geyser. Doing it on a toon that has speed increase, or a blink type ability from a Mage, is the easiest way to correct a mistake. You have 4 seconds from the time you hit one geyser till the debuff wears off, which is when you have to hit the next. You cannot hit the same geyser twice, but you can skip a geyser using a speed boost if you think you have the time after a mistake. The key is the direction you are facing when you hit it. Keep that in mind and you should have.

The item is account bound. I tried doing on a second toon, and did not get the achieve again, nor did I get another geyser gun. I cannot say for certain this was not a glitch, but it appears you can only obtain one per account, not toon.

Be sure to move if you do not get blasted by the next geyser. You are allowed to run into the geyser after hitting the last in case you do not possition right and hit it exactly upon falling from the last. Good luck!

Just got this on my 4th try today. Because I didn't see it mentioned on this page, I'll give my advice as well. Do this on your Aqua Strider. Being mounted really helped me reset myself when I needed to. And it allows for quick run back up from the water if you mess up and fall off.

I concur with others that holding the right mouse key is the way to go. Prior attempts I was monkeying with keyboard turning and I feel that messed me up a lot more than helped.

This is definitely my new favorite toy box item. Good luck to all you toy hunters out there.

Completing this is as difficult as completing Hexos in the Brawler's Guild.

I had trouble achieving the 250 stacks until I came up with a method - then I completed it on my first attempt, using the new method.

If you are having trouble completing the 250 stacks;
Do as I did & Display your Name / Guild Name.
Find the center of your guild name.

For example if your guild name is <GG NT>
The center of your screen will be between the G and the N
Aim that center to the left edge of every puddle & you will always land safely.

Aim while you are in the air.

Just earned this after everybody left my LFR. I had some difficulty finding the geyser that took you to the upper levels. After Ji-Kun, you click a feather on the platform and use it to fly up to the red portal above the platform as others have said. That will take you to a bridge. Cross the bridge to Megara's side and immediately on your left against the cliff face you'll find a short blue stumpy thing you can interact with. That is the geyser that will take you upwards - just click it. Be super careful once you're up and find a path through that level that will get you to the ramp from Tortos without agroing anything. I found hugging the edge of the cliff was best (don't fall over and don't get too close to the mushrooms - there's spiders in there) and then just timed one good hell-bent-for-leather run across the lake to the ramp.

At the actual jumping geysers, I tried using a mount like others have done. I found in the end, though, I lost too much precision because of the increased movement speed. I just stepped mountless onto the first geyser, rotated my camera with the right mouse button to face the next geyser and used my left hand to make small adjustments with the arrow keys whenever I landed. It doesn't matter which direction your character moves when you have to correct - only which direction your camera is facing.

It's not that hard, but it's also extremely unforgiving. Four seconds isn't much and two of them are spent in the air. My advice is to remember to BREATHE. Once I started into my second hundred stacks my heart started racing and I was probably getting set to have an anxiety attack. LOL Just relax, breathe and settle into a rhythm. Try to avoid thinking about how many stacks you have and just focus on aligning with the next geyser (and be ready to adjust when you land). 250 stacks doesn't take that long to build up and you'll be done.

Having a bottle of Jack nearby to celebrate with while you're soaking everyone in the auction house doesn't hurt either. :-)

Note, if the target is pvp flagged and you're not then you will not be able to hit them. If the target pvp flags the microsecond you hit them, you will also flag. Only had that happen once though.
It's a cool item but it can be frustrating to accidentally sheathe your weapon and lose it, so be careful.

Even if solo, mounting up on your hugest mount helps a lot, the larger hitbox is a huge benefit. Once I mounted my Yak (as opposed to on foot) I got it on first attempt.

Just did this first try. A few tips :

Use a rocket or any mount with a pointy end to aim easier to the next node.
When you land, move a tiny bit in order to activate the jump immediately instead of waiting 0.5-1sec by not moving.

Try this with the vial of sands mount. You can fly without flapping wings, looks hilarious. And when you lift off ground and stay still, he looks like one of the dogs/wolves in game dancing with his front 2 paws up and he has a silly face

If you are not very accurate and misjudge angle of gauser jumps, try using basic goblin trike. The bright light in front helps targeting a lot, just toggle you camera slightly above you and try combining end of light with next poodle, it helped me to nail jumps quite a bit. If you are Alliance any long mount will improve your aiming too.

Took me around 10 minutes grand total without dropping the stack. Very cool item, and a pretty rare one too I'd say given how it's acquired.

You are able to quickly sidestep/back-peddle to adjust between each jump, making this a whole lot easier than I first thought - you just gotta be 100% focused for the duration it takes.

There are a lot of good suggestions here, but I wanted to add a few more from my experience.

The puddles launch you forward in the direction your character is facing. It doesn't matter which direction you enter the puddle from or which direction your camera is looking necessarily. You are always launched in the direction your character is looking. This means if you miss your mark slightly, you want to adjust into the puddle so that you are still facing toward the next mark. That means strafing and backing up.

Note that sometimes when strafing, it might appear that you are facing the direction of the strafe depending on the mount you are riding or form you are in, but you are still facing the same direction as far as this is concerned and will still be launched accordingly.

Backing up is usually a bad idea in wow since it's so slow, but it is fast enough if you haven't missed the mark by too much and allows you to be launched in the right direction.

You should be turning yourself in the air so you are facing the right direction, but you should not be facing the puddle you are about to land in. You should be facing the puddle after that. This was a big problem I had at first.

There are a number of class and race specific abilities that might allow you to correct some mistakes. As a druid, I was in travel form with the wild charge glyph. This way if I accidentally careened off the side into watery failure, I could turn and launch myself back in. I believe that the goblin racial ability would work for this as well. Warlocks might also be able to use their teleport if things go badly.

This is an evil minigame, but it is possible. Keep practicing and enjoy your new toy!

FYI: If you suck at jumping and aiming (like me apparently), a druid's mountable stag form or a multi-person mount can help. A friend mounted his Sandstone Drake and I got on. He then did the jumping and I got stacks with him! Be careful though, we reset a few times because I wasn't in the hit box but he was so he didn't realize that i didn't get the stack and I lost mine and we had to start over. Your friend must be sure to hit the geysers exactly to ensure you both get credit for the stack.

I just got my gun. It's a blast!

Couple quick notes from my experience. Be aware that there is NO indication once you finish successfully. You won't get an achievement, the gun won't be in your bags. Your character will briefly light up, but it's easy to miss. As mentioned below, you'll get a mail with the item once you finish. But there is no other indication that you've completed it.

The suggestion from below that made a HUGE difference is to use a rocket mount. Point the nose directly at the next puddle when you're in the air and you can hit almost every one perfectly. I was having a lot of trouble missing them frequently using other techniques like the water strider or bringing up your name / guild name. Using the rocket made my final run nearly perfect.

Just my two cents, but traveling counter-clockwise greatly reduced my rate of error. The two geysers near the rim seem much easier to approach that way.

I decided to try this today after running Throne of Thunder and was surprised at how challenging this actually was. Expect to spend at least 10 minutes here if you decide to get this toy (30-60 is more realistic). As this can be fairly time consuming, you will want to come back after your raid is complete, preferably alone as to avoid distraction.

To get this toy, you will need to jump geyser to geyser continuously 250 times without allowing your stacks to fall off. This will take a solid 10 minutes or so to complete, so be prepared to focus for that length of time. I would recommend experimenting a bit when you arrive before buckling down. Figure out what controls to use, what direction to travel, whether or not to use a mount etc. Once you have that down, this more or less comes down to precision and persistence.

Many of the following come down to personal preference, but here are some things I found out during this ordeal:

Picture a clock. Assuming Tortos would be 12, I felt moving clockwise worked the best.
I ended up rebinding 'move backward' to 'S' for the first time in years. This helped greatly. If you feel you have overshot a geyser slightly, hit 'S' to try and move back toward the center of it while aiming at the next geyser.
Contrary to what others have said, I found using a mount to be imprecise. It obscured the geysers and made centering myself difficult.
This will take roughly 10 uninterrupted minutes of concentration. I ended up putting on some music before starting.
Steer yourself with your right mouse button. I couldn't imagine keyboard turning my way through this.
Be ready to screw up and start over. I messed up at the ripe old number of 208 because I got excited and aimed myself poorly.

The toy itself is pretty cool. Upon reaching 250 stacks of the geyser buff, you will receive a letter from Taoshi containing the item. It has a 30 minute cooldown and applies a 5 minute buff to you, effectively giving you a super-soaker. So, go forth and wreak watery havoc on everything in your path (this one's for you, Papa Neptulon).

You don't need to clear up to Tordos, just head back to Pandaria and talk to Chroniqueur Han in the Seat of Knowledge.
(Above the entrance to Mogu'shan Palace in Vale of Eternal Blossoms.)

Then just queue up for Tell me of the Forgotten Depths beneath the Isle of Thunder. It will then put you right at the spot to have at the spouts!

I can pretty much confirm that this is much like the hundreds of other things Blizzard doesn't test and is non-functional. Geyers FREQUENTLY do not toss you in the air. I can /sit, /dance, or play "put your right foot in, put your right foot out", and it won't trigger. If this is happening to you, the achievement is nigh impossible. Is there a way to overcome Blizzard's incompetence in this case?

I just got this toy yesterday (24/5/2015) didn't know it existed, only knew of its existence when the toy tab was added.
Would love to say that this is easy to do but No! It is an easy concept but it is not easy to stay focused on every 250 of the jumps.

If anyone is wondering there is an easy way to get into the room to get this toy, all you need to do is go and meet the Lorewalkers (they are located above the Mogushan Palace Dungeon in Vale of Eternal Blossoms), there you will meet 3 pandas, 1 for normal scenarios, 1 for heroic scenarios and the last one will give you access to the Raid Finder dificulty on the pandaria raids. So just talk to the Raid Finder gentleman and choose Forgotten Depths, it will put you on a queue but it is a 1 man thing so it will be insta queue.

That will put you right on the place to get this toy. Now we get into the tricky part.

You will see the "geyser room" it has 8 small geysers around the room, if you walk on one of them it will propel you foward, so the thing is if your character is looking foward you will jump foward, the way to to this is line up 2 geysers walk on the first one and you will land on the second, the trick is to "aim" the camera (Mouse or keyboard) to the other geysers, so all you do is while on the air aim for the geyser that comes next. Just pratice a few times and you will be able to get the hang of it, all you need is to be focused and calm :)

When you hit the 250 it won't show up as an achievement the item will be delivered by mailbox :)

This probably is a confusing way to explain but its the best I could do :D

P.S: If you miss the landing don't despair the debuff has a few seconds before it wears off so just stay calm and try to line up the next jump

For those who don't have ninja-twitch reflexes, here's a cheat to help you out.

Backpeddle as close as possible to one of the geysers without being launched, then rotate your screen so that the next geyser in sequence is directly vertical in front of you (i.e. the 12o'clock position).

Now get a small piece of coloured tape, or anything sticky (Blutack, even) and stick it on your monitor so that it covers up that next geyser.

All you have to do is constantly mouseturn (keep right-mouse button pressed) while bouncing around, line up the next on-screen geyser with the on-monitor tape, and make tiny (quickly tap the key) adjustments with the movement keys (STRAFE), and you SHOULD get it first time.

Some hints:

Ride your most "arrow-like" mount, because it helps with the visual acuity side of things, so you can steer/point more intuitively.

NEVER look at the buff counter, because it WILL distract you with excitement/disappointment. DON'T DO IT! Just keep steering/pointing at that tape! If you MUST sneak a peek, wait until you're on the two geysers naturally in a vertical row (the ones on the right as you face the back of the room). You don't have to steer much for those, so you have a spare second or two.

It appears that the geysers can introduce a tiny portion of random extra inertia to you, which means that you can land and be slightly off the geyser. You have, at most, 2 seconds to realise this and TAP the appropriate movement key to strafe back onto the geyser. Luckily, the tape means that you should already be pointing at the next geyser, so really, all you need to worry about are those tiny corrections when you land.

Here's the #1 tip to completing this task, which oddly hasn't been mentioned yet:

When launched into the air, never watch where you're going to land.

Your #1 priority while in the air is to point yourself at the next geyser. If you fail to hit the geyser when you land make a quick adjustment and launch again. You'll already be pointed in the right direction. If you're having difficulty making sure you're pointed in the right direction while in the air, keep in mind you can do this while mounted. Get on a small mount and it'll make it easier to see which way you're pointed.

If you're watching where you land you'll eventually panic and hit a geyser while you're not pointed correctly.

A few tips:

Practice a couple times clockwise and counter-clockwise to see which one feels better to you. And get use to motion and where misses happen.
Use strafe and right (sometimes double) click mouse, as I feel it helps move character better and prevents that .5 second lag spike on buff 238 that stops you from getting to 250 :(
I did not like using mounts, however, the Ghostly Iron Buccaneer's Hat worked great. Larger hit box and an arrow through your head that makes a perfect pointer. The large arms helped too and watching him jump was more fun.
And for an even bigger hit box, I used Elixir of Giant Growth
I also removed my weapon, tabard and back to have less interference while jumping, but not required if using the Ghostly Iron Buccaneer's Hat
At 250 stacks do not expect a big achievement. Nothing happens. Your Fusil à eau pandashan is mailed to you - lol.

if i havent completed it yet its just becouse it is so much bugged, most of the times if i dont land on the geyser but i have to do some walks into it i didnt get jumped and the counter resets. i have nothing against life stealing achievements but since it requires a lot of time and attention at least be sure there are no bugs

My tips: I've just done this in about 40 minutes as a druid in travel form. As a stag I was able to line up the next geyser whilst in mid air by sighting it in the middle of my antlers.

Another benefit of being in travel form is it makes it a little bit quicker to strafe / backtrack to the next geyser if you miss one so have your keyboard fingers ready and steer with the mouse (holding down right mouse button). Also if you do land in the water, being in travel form, you automatically shape shift to aquatic form so you can get back to land quicker for another try.

This is not actually that difficult, it just takes time and concentration. Don't let the 250 target put you off trying, it only takes about 5 minutes to get from 0-250. Once you master the "lining up the next geyser in mid air" trick it is just a matter of time until you get your gun. My total effort, including practice, took about 40 minutes. Time well spent. I got this at first try, and I must say WOW such a long funny boring trip it has been!

All I did was simply use /run MouselookStart() script and just focus on moving the mouse to face the next geyser while in the air.I followed anticlock wise direction and everything went smooth. Be relaxed and don't panic, most of the times you will not land perfectly but you'll have time to re-adjust and take the next jump.

I personally loved this experience and I hope more minigames like this were added, very breathstealing adventure :D

As of Legion, you can easily complete this using a Demon Hunter.

1. Bind Glide to a key of your choice. (I find this easier than spacebar, but that may also work for you.)
2. Hold down the right mouse button (to let you control the camera) and W (to start walking forwards).
3. Simply walk into a geyser.
4. Use Glide to re-orient yourself, and walk/fly into another geyser. Move in a circle/square of 4 geysers of your choice--it's best to go every-other geyser, not aim for each one.

Tips/Notes:
-With proper timing, you should be entering geysers with slightly more than a full second to spare.
-Havoc works best for the passive movement speed boost. Stack mastery and you can basically run from one geyser to the next.
-Use things that increase your size for even more ease.
-If you time Glide right, you can actually cancel the geyser almost completely and just walk into the next one.
-It's usually best to walk into a geyser such that you start going off of the side, then glide back around. Cancel the glide about halfway to the next geyser and you can just run to it.
-I found the hardest part to be that my mouse would gradually drift across my mousepad until it nearly fell off. Be sure you have enough room on your desk to keep moving and to move your mouse back if it is starting to drift too far! I went counter-clockwise, so my mouse would drift to the left.
-Yes, this is still in-game as of 7.1. No, there is no achievement, you get it in the mail at 250 stacks.
-A successful attempt takes around 10-11 minutes, so be sure you can stay focused/not be interrupted for that long.

Finished ToT today on 25 man with a few guildies.I didn't want to slow down the run so we finished the raid and I planned on coming back later that night to get the toy. When I returned, it zoned me in to the end of the raid where you kill Lei Shen and I had to use the teleporter in the middle to get off the platform. From there, I tried running all the way back to the start of the instance, and noticed it wouldn't take me all the way back; it let me go as far as Iron Qon (and there was a portal there). There was a tunnel to the right (if you are facing toward the instance from the portal) that I tried going down... but it would only let me get as far as Ji-Kun. I couldn't use that flying thing to get to the other tunnel as it was now blocked off.

Moral of the story... if you are going for this toy DO NOT continue with the raid as you cannot return to the spot with the geysers.

If I am wrong, please correct me... but I can't seem to find any information on how to deal with this. Super bummed.

I found using a mount is easier.... specifically the sandstone drake because it’s easy to point to the next geyser using it’s head from a top view.... I realize not everyone may have a sandstone drake but if you do...utilize it. If you do not try the other drakes with horn on front of head or the mammoths and use their trunk as your pointer. Like others have mentioned position yourself in the air for the next geyser. I tried several mounts as well as no mount before I found out the sandstone drake worked best for me. This was quite a miserable farm for me but with practice and a whole lot of patience I finally got it & I love it!

After falling off the platform a couple of times from over-shooting, I realized something that might help someone else:

Aim a little more towards the center of the platform, rather than the dead center of the next circle.

For example, I was going counter-clockwise, so I shot straight towards the next circle, but just a tad bit to the right. This way, it's must easier to side-step once than to fall off the platform at 200 stacks and throw your mouse across the room.

Not a complaint but a message of caution - I've never quit trying to get an item I wanted before in this game until now. After failing for over an hour I decided to just leave it. If you're only wanting the gun for an extra toy in your collection, save yourself a lot of time and stress and just go for something else. I was going for the 300 toy reward and heard this was an easy one to get. I followed all the advice given here and it just wasn't helping. There are plenty more toys to get that are a lot less frustrating.

just got the toy after an hour of fails. remember to be patient.i started at the south east corner of the geysers and went clockwise. only using the default movement keys, if you've ever dabbled in arenas and have a good understanding of strafing then you should be fine, be sure to use any movement boosts to fix a mistake, i only used the mouse to change directions when i over or undershot the next geyser.

Just completed in 2nd try. I dont know if it affects it in any way but I did it as a druid in cat form and it felt pretty smooth.
Push yourself to stay concentrated as, in my opinion, it feels super exhausting and like it takes ages.

Aim slightly left of the circles (going counter-clockwise) when you are at the peak of the jump and if you land next to it just take the small step inside.
Maybe this helps someone.

An easy way I found for achieving this is to use a mount with horns or antenna, and line up the next geyser you're jumping to inbetween the horns/antenna

The easiest way of doing this by far is only using left side pool, middle pool and then right side. Basicly start from middle go right then make make a 180 turn back to middle and then to left side make another 180 turn to the middle and repeat . i found that its very hard to get knocked off this way and if you mount up you can quickly back into a pool if u miss it slightly after the 180 turns :)

The 2 small pools im talking about is the closest ones to the middle pool. they line straight with the middle pool so this is perfect:)
the mount i was using was the crimson water strider since it gives you a good view of whats under you:)

Ok I tried all this but the easiest for me was simply jumping back and forth between the 2 front small geysers of the circle. The ones on the Tortos side of the circle. You just have to quickly 180 back and forth, and not pay attention to anything other than that you are pointing back at the other puddle. It was surprisingly easy this way, tho still painfully exhausting.

This is so easy that it's not challenging at all, just takes an INSANE amount of time. Like, 10-15 minutes, maybe more.

Like someone else said, use the front two geysers near the ledge, on the boss's side of the platform. When you're in mid air, ALL you have to do is hold down the RMB and make your character swivel around to face the other geyser. You get launched in the direction you're facing, so repeat this until you go from 1 to 250 stacks. You don't need to move at all as long as you directly face the opposite geyser before you land. You don't even need to land directly on the geyser, just somewhere vaguely within it's hitbox. You'll find yourself bored out of your mind once you get into the rhythm of it, but take heart, because if you're at that point, then you've figured out the technique! Don't do a full 180 unless you're quick, just turn your mouse/character the opposite way along the same axis as you turn to face the other geyser. (That basically means, while holding RMB, you're essentially making your character rotate towards the opposite geyser in half circles, rather than completely spinning around. Try to spin all the way around and you can risk landing while facing the wrong direction, thus launching you the wrong way and ruining your stacks.)

Whoever thought it was a good idea to make the requirement for this item 250 stacks was insane. Aside from the ramping pressure and anxiety of one small slip-up as you reach closer to 250 stacks, this isn't challenging, let alone fun. It's just swerving back and forth for several minutes straight. 100 or 150 stacks of this would've easily sufficed, as it doesn't get any more challenging at 200-250. There's no difficulty scale here, it's the same motion start to finish.

I failed numerous times on this because I kept landing in the water. I finally finished this by doing two things.

1) Mounting on a thin mount (a horse, so it was nice and straight to help my aim), and
2) Only using the two nodes nearest Tortoros.

The latter suggestion is really helpful. They're farther away from the water so you're unlikely to end your attempt if your aim goes awry. I completed it with my first attempt using this strategy.

just completed this, the game doesnt tell you that you have completed it, since theres no real achievement tied to this challenge (or at least i didnt get any).
after you get the 250 stacks the toy gets sent to you via mail by Taoshi.

Mount up, preferably on a mount that actually runs on the ground, like the volcanic stone drake or something (i prefer mounts that run on the ground and doesn't float like Ji-kun for example).

Then run to the big blue circle in the middle of all the small circles and you will get thrown up in the air. As soon as you land, run back to the middle. What i did was turning when i was in the air so i always faced the big blue circle. That way i made it back to the middle of the circle before the buff ran out.

Thank you all for valuable comments, here is the strategy using some tips below that finally helped me to get the toy.
1. Use Deckstrier ailé, I found it easy to point to the right direction. After about 50 stacks you get the bubble tail floating after you, making alignment even easier.
2. Go to the second platform with a single geyser, use only this one. You can't fall into water from this platform.
3. Press NumLock to make your character run automatically.
4. Start jumping, while in the air point your mount to the center of the circle. When you land just run to the same circle.
5. Meditate for 10 min.
6. All you get at the end is the new mail, no achieve. So keep your eye on the mailbox and stack count.
Good luck, hope this helps. This strategy only took me two tries after many many failed attempts.

I found a clever solution to entirely skip the jumping using Tapecul de Sombrelune twice, together with keybindings.

Use Tapecul de Sombrelune next to a small geyser and enter it by right clicking it. Leaving the vehicle now allows you to walk on the geyser area without being pushed away.
Now position yourself exactly on the transition between geyser and floor (see screenshot below). Once your Tapecul de Sombrelune is off-cooldown, use it again.
Entering that newly setup Tapecul de Sombrelune now counts as "stepping on a geyser" and leaving it as "getting pushed away", thus increasing your stack count without any actual jumping.
Doing this manually (using your mouse) would allow you to collect approximately 75 stacks before Tapecul de Sombrelune expires. That's why we're using keybindings instead.
Open the game menu (red question-mark in your action bar, at the bottom right). Under "keybindings" you need to set two keys.
Set one key for "leaving vehicle" (category: vehicle control) and one for "interact with mouseover" (category: target functions).
Position your mouse above Tapecul de Sombrelune and spam both keys. Your stacks will go up in light speed.
In under a minute you'll reach the required 250 stacks.

You do not have to jump around the circle. The buff will stack if you jump back and forth which is way easier than the gauntlet of water around the ring. I realized it after jumping in circle for almost an hour only to miss it by a few time after time.

You can go back and forth between two pools, no need to go around the circle which is more difficult. I used the two pools first reached on the ramp. As soon as i hit a pool, I began lining up my character with the other pool. Rinse, repeat x 250 times. Super easy one shot if you can stay focused.

If you jump back and forth on the two pads on the path that leads to Tortos, you can get points easily.
Just jump back and forth on those two over and over.

Your biggest enemy is going to be 'concentration'. Twice I got to the low 200's and started thinking about 'how was I going to write this strategy up in Wowhead?'. Next thing you know I'm in the water thinking 'why am I like this?. Everyone else is single shotting this toy'.....

I used the small circles at 1200 & 0600 and jumped through the large circle. The large circle is very forgiving of a poor jump allowing you time to adjust. Yes use a small mount. After you have jumped from the large circle towards the small circle turn around aiming for the large circle again as your fate is set with your aim

AVOID daydreaming when you approach 200.....

What helped me the most was mounting on File-monde géosynchrone as it's like a giant arrow to point at the next geyser. There's probably lots of mounts that would help, but after a few failed attempts without a mount, I tried with that mount and then just kept on going to the full 250! I hopped back and forth between the two front geysers so I wouldn't have to worry about falling in the water. Set a /timer just so you can keep track of time. I think it was about 9 minutes total but I forgot to check at the end (halfway was 4 minutes something).

Where many people used mounts to line themselves up, I personally found the game menu (esc) to work like a charm. Make sure to line up the geyser so that it's completely concealed behind the menu (horizontally, vertically doesn't matter, you can have the geyser above or below the menu screen) and it should perfectly bounce you a solid 99% of the time. Only once when I was about 160 in and starting to get tired, it missed once, but I managed to recover. Generally I found the width of the box to be perfect as a 'crosshair' to line up my bounces.

After a few failed attempts I finally found something that worked. Since the see-saw cheese method was patched I used a demon hunter (but I'm sure evoker would also work). I started gliding back and forth on the two circles right above the little drop, kind of making a figure 8 pattern to make sure i hit the centre each time. The goal is to keep gliding for the entire duration and using your right mouse button to steer. If by chance you clip the side and lose the glide, you can go right back into it while in the air and recover (make sure your other hand is ready to press movement keys just in case). I also found that counting helped me focus but if you find that it makes you panic then don't and have a friend tell you when you hit 250 instead. Fun fact: I did a few extra bounces but the buff is capped at 250. This is by far the easiest way to do this now and only takes 5ish minutes. I wish you all luck!

I did this super easily with a friend if you sit in the middle of two geyser and have your other friend go on follow into one of the geyser that you are in between then you can essentially just AFK the achievement until you get all the stacks you need
