Warlords of Draenor Talent Calculator: Level 100 Talents and Draenor Perks Preview
2014-04-03 à 19:31
Many spell changes have been made since this calculator was posted in April, check out our class guides for full details.
Last Update: 11 am 4\/25. Talents and perks updated for Build 18179.
Blizzard just released the first version of the Warlords of Draenor Alpha patch notes, and to correspond with that they\u2019ve provided us with the following preview of Level 100 Alpha talents and Draenor Perks. We've added them to our calculator, as well as lower-level talent changes we've seen from videos at past press events.
Of particular note:
Many level 100 talents are now spec-specific instead of one huge tooltip covering every spec. When you select a specialization on Wowhead's talent calculator, the level 100 talents will automatically update to reflect the chosen specialization!
Draenor Perks are a new type of leveling reward in WoD. When leveling from 91-100, you'll be randomly assigned one Draenor Perk each level that's appropriate to your class\/spec, and when you hit 100 you'll have learned all of
Patch 5.4.8 PTR: New Seasonal Events, Cosmetic Tab Added to In-Game Shop, Heroes Rocket Mount
2014-04-01 à 08:57
This morning we datamined a new 5.4.8 PTR build and the servers were briefly up for us to grab some pictures! Read on for a summary of the datamined changes and PTR additions.
Like recent PTRs, this build appeared fairly small with vanity items and shop additions to make up for a lack of spell changes. However, these changes should make players very happy--new seasonal world events with collectible items are on the PTR! The in-game shop also continues to grow with the addition of a Cosmetic tab--Warlocks, move over, Mages can get green fire now too.
Finally, while we primarily focus on WoW-related news, we've been including cool tidbits from Heroes of the Storm. The Wowhead Rocket was spotted as a new buyable mount on the Heroes alpha--news definitely worth sharing, even if it's not tied to WoW!
Oh, and by the way, APRIL FOOL'S!
Edit: Blizzard just published a preview of 6.0 patch notes--click here to read them or skip to the end of the blog! Of particulate note: Proving Ground rating of Gold will be required to post on the forums in Warlords of Draenor.

2014-03-21 à 12:55
This past week we've launched several more updates to popular tools! For a complete list of new features we've been working on, check out our What's New page.
Hearthstone Dust Costs
Dust costs have now been added to guide pages as well as guide filters if you've saved your collection to Hearthhead!
Deck Quick Facts now show crafting costs. When a user is logged in and has a collection saved with our Card Collection Tool, it also shows your personalized crafting cost based off the number of cards you've already collected.
Decks can now be filtered by total crafting cost, and there is a new sortable "cost" column in results.
For logged in users with cards saved via My Collection, there's a new sortable "My Cost" column in guide results. Users can also filter for "My Crafting Cost" which takes into account existing cards they have collected.
Since the Profiler tracks many character details, we've expanded it to now track Talents\/Glyphs as

News Roundup: Siege of Orgrimmar Normal/Heroic Cross-Realm Raids, Hotfixes and F2P Heroes
2014-03-18 à 14:59
As well as these changes, we've got the latest hotfixes and the new free-to-play hero set in Heroes of the Storm: We've recently implemented an often requested feature to enable cross-realm raiding for
. Cross-realm BattleTag\u2122 and Real ID friends can now raid together and take the fight to
on Normal or Heroic difficulty. Players will be able to earn greater rewards such as
Rênes du loup de guerre kor'kron
or the title of Conqueror\/
; both of which aren't available to be earned within Flexible or Raid Finder difficulty. This change is currently live.Correct -- current-tier Mythic raiding in Warlords will still be limited to players from a single server. In the meantime, though, this change may help guilds that are trying to recruit and grow in preparation for Mythic raiding. As for realm firsts, realm firsts are guild achievements; you need to be in a guild group, which is by definition 8\/10 or 20\/25 members coming from a single guild on a single server. You could theoretically have a couple of guests from a different server and still claim the realm first, but ultimately 80% of the group still has to be from the
