Azeroth Map Created in Walnut and Resin

has created an Azeroth map laser cut in Walnut wood and covered in epoxy resin!
The people that created the map posted on Reddit about the process, saying that this was created as a one-of-a-kind commission and they were initially not familiar with WoW or the Azeroth map, but researching for this project got them interested in playing the game! The map was also made to the customer's preferences with certain different highlighted areas of the map.
We make a lot of fantasy maps with our laser cutter and epoxy resin. For a recent commission, we made a map of Azeroth from World of Warcraft. While we were never WoW players, we have always had friends that played and were always interested in the world. After being asked to make it, we took a deep dive into the Maps of Azeroth. The world is amazing, and this is what we came up with. There are so many different versions of this map from throughout the years but what we made was a mixture of many maps with the customer's preference in mind. After making this map, I really want to start playing! If you have feedback about the map’s arrangement or missing elements, know that we purposely left some pieces out and highlighted areas based on what the customer wanted.

showing the entire process of creating the map piece, including the creation of the map template, the laser cutting process, and the resin filling! By using the same process, they previously created other maps from famous franchises such as
the Northern Kingdoms and Empire of Nilfgaard from The Witcher

Dreamland from Netflix's Disenchantment
.
