Celebrating the Life of Jarod "NWBZPWNR" Nandin with a Virtual Wake in Stormwind

Friends and family came together to celebrate the life of
Jarod "NWBZPWNR" Nandin
with a virtual wake in Stormwind. Attending both in person and on Twitch, the congregation marched to Lion's Rest where they took turns sharing stories and saying goodbye to a pillar of the WoW and cosplay communities.
Out of respect for those participating in the event, we chose not to highlight it until after completion, but you can catch up with the VoD

Those who knew him remember Jarod as fun loving and rambunctious, a self described geek with an egregiously obnoxious wit. Always ready with a joke or kind word, he was a comfort to friends and family all the way through his final days. Best known for his
South Park cosplay
, he was a major proponent of inclusivity, the positive impact of gaming, and the power of
cosplay to bring people together
. He died on January 3rd following complications from Covid-19 and will be deeply missed.
