With Legion Timewalking arriving in Patch 9.1.5, the
Nightborne-themed weapons from the Legion Timewalking Vendor
are one of the most awaited rewards for players looking to add to their transmog collection. For more information on upcoming Legion Timewalking rewards, check our Timewalking guide!
Legion Timewalking Guide
However, as of the last PTR build, the
Duskwatch Arcblade
has been removed from the Timewalking Vendor. There has been no formal announcement as to why the sword was removed, or if it is returning, but we can speculate why it has been removed (at least for the time being).
It is believed that the Arcblade was removed from the Legion Timewalking vendor due to weird animations. While the weapon has the appearance of a Warglaive, it is classified and behaves as a Sword. The weirdest animation is how it sits on your side like a Sword, while a Warglaive usually sits behind the character when put away.
The Duskwatch Arcblade is available on our Dressing Room tool
, in case you want to see what it looks like on other races.
Currently on the 9.1.5 PTR, you can see the Duskwatch Arcblade on the new Dressing Room tool, but a mouseover on the weapon displays that it currently cannot be transmogged by any characters. The screenshot below shows the Dressing Room tool on a Paladin, one of the classes that should be able to equip the weapon.
We hope to see this weapon returned to the vendor in the next few builds!
