How Large is N'Zoth? Old Gods Size Comparison and Old Nazjatar Map

Patch 8.3, Visions of N'Zoth, brings us finally into battle against N'Zoth the Corruptor. We started our 8.3 datamining with a look at this Old God's model, and now we're back with a size comparison between humans and the other Old Gods.
First, let's review N'Zoth's actual model. N'Zoth comes with two tints--one with orange eyes and feet, another with purple ones, possibly symbolizing Fire and Void, although much of the
Encounter Journal
is Void-themed. The two tints could possibly also reflect how the player sees N'Zoth in different phases or sanity levels. Currently, they are tied to CustomSpell1and CustomSpell2 in our model viewer.
N'Zoth is absolutely
huge
compared to the other Old God models, towering over mere humans.
To get another clue as to the size of N'Zoth, we have datamined a map from the 8.3 client that was originally worked on in 8.1 as an old concept for Nazjatar. Here we see that N'Zoth was connected to Nazjatar, his tentacles and protective flesh dwarfing the zone.
This image of N'Zoth didn't make it into the final version of Nazjatar--maybe Blizzard wanted to hide the reveal that the Old God was growing on top of the Maelstrom, consuming its volatile powers. Or perhaps this exact concept was scrapped before Nazjatar released, but some of this concept ended up reused in
Carapace of N'Zoth
encounter, the penultimate fight in the Ny'alotha raid:
A writhing mass of flesh, eyes, and tentacles ley like a mountain ahead. Tendrils of corruption and fear seep from the hulking body. This is the core of the Black Empire, the seat of N'Zoth's power, within the body of a god.
During the 8.2 PTR we asked the question
Where is the Prison of N'Zoth?
as the location appeared to have shifted since
Chronicle
, now alarmingly close to the Well of Eternity.
First, we know that N'Zoth is an incredibly large being - the Crucible of Storms was originally described as a "fragment of N'Zoth" in a Mamytwink interview from BlizzCon 2018. N'Zoth appears to be present underneath Stormsong Valley (near the originally speculated prison location from Chronicle) in Patch 8.1.5, but also imprisoned in Nazjatar in Patch 8.2 - a fair distance away. Perhaps a part of N'Zoth is imprisoned somewhere, but his full body is so much larger that it spreads beyond that location, like a vine that's grown beyond the supports that hold it.
Second, N'Zoth is also associated with corruption, ranging from the Emerald Nightmare to Neltharion the Earth-Warder, better known as Deathwing. Il'gynoth's whispers parallel several events in Patch 8.2, one of which referring to N'Zoth gaining strength: "From the earth, he draws strength. Our earth. Our strength." Instead of assuming that N'Zoth's prison was always underneath the Well of Eternity, perhaps N'Zoth was simply present, a small fragment that grew to reach the Well of Eternity and observe Azshara. We've seen Yogg-Saron extend his reach to corrupt the World Tree Vordrassil, so we shouldn't assume that N'Zoth's reach is also limited to his prison.
While we still don't know
how
N'Zoth's prison shifted over millennia, we can now appreciate the size of the Old God. How far-reaching do you think N'Zoth's other tentacles go? And if he's truly gigantic, would he really have been held in place only by one set of chains in the Eternal Palace, or are there others that were broken before we faced Azshara?
