Best Legendaries for Retribution Paladin in 9.1
The new Covenant Legendaries are definitely interesting options, with the new Kyrian one,
Résonance divine, looking likely to be very strong.
- For Kyrian, Résonance divine is likely to now be the best Legendary in most Raiding and Mythic+ situations.
- For Night Fae and Necrolord, Verdict final is the best Legendary for single target.
- For Night Fae, Necrolord, and Venthyr in a mixture of single target and cleave, and also for Venthyr on single target, Parangon fou is the best Legendary.
- For pure AoE, Tempête du Porteur de Lumière is the best Legendary for all Covenants.
New Covenant Legendaries for Retribution Paladin
- Kyrian
Résonance divine - Outside of pure AoE situations, this is likely to be a very competitive Legendary for Kyrian, if not the best. There's not much downside to crafting this early.
Necrolord
Night Fae
- Saisons d’abondance - It's difficult to evaluate this Legendary in a vacuum, since it'll usually be better to use this to buff another player's damage rather than your own. You'll only get to use one buffed Bénédiction de l’été every 3 minutes, and that doesn't line up with Courroux vengeur. That said, if you're staying Night Fae then it's a good option to have available, even if you won't use it as frequently.
Venthyr
- Braises irradiantes - The cooldown reduction portion of this Legendary only causes it to desync with Courroux vengeur, and the 50% increased duration just isn't as strong as other options for Venthyr. This Legendary currently isn't worth crafting.
