Use Raidbots to Find Your Best DPS Upgrade in the Great Vault in Shadowlands

With the first Great Vault loot of Shadowlands, players will inevitably ask themselves "What item should I choose?". To help in this dilemma, players can use
Raidbots
in conjunction with the
SimulationCraft addon
to sim all pieces available in their Great Vault to find what piece will provide the largest benefit to their DPS.
Don't forget to check your loot spec
before
opening the Great Vault.
In short, if you already have the
SimulationCraft addon
installed, all you need to do as you log in after the weekly reset is:
Open your Great Vault
Run /simc
Copy/paste to Top Gear
Select the Great Vault items
See which sims the best
By doing that, Top Gear will also include pieces from your Great Vault, which will be denoted with a
GV
flag at the item:

Legendary Powers from the Vault
Don't forget to pickup the quest
