How do you feel about Sylvanas burning down Teldrassil and some of her other recent actions?

Rudeism:

I don't like Sylvanas. That's not to say she's not compelling - her character is fantastically written, and I don't think that anything she's done is out of line with her character, Teldrassil included. She's always been - for lack of a better word - an extremist. She's out to do what's best for the Forsaken (Horde comes secondary to her, I think), and she'll crush who and what she needs to in order to do that. She wanted to make more Val'kyr in Legion, she's always been trigger-happy when it comes to using Blight, which everyone else in the Horde opposed. She's a ruthless leader, and I don't think anything's changed in that regard at all.

ChinglishTV:

For me I have always disliked Sylvanas and I feel like if she was not a fan favorite we would have already fought her in the past, BUT the outrage would be insane based on the community response about her burning down the tree. Her doing that turned the Horde into something I didn't really want to be a part of. For me, the Horde was and has always been about honor and the outcast faction, that's why I liked it all those years ago.

Do you believe that the factions will splinter? Will some of the Horde eventually apposing Sylvanas’ rule?

Rudeism:

We're already seeing the splintering happen - Saurfang won't come back to Sylvanas' Horde. I think that fact alone will lead to some interesting story developments - whether he overthrows Sylvanas somehow, or even goes blue for a while, who knows. I imagine some orcs would likely follow him, possibly others too.

ChinglishTV:

I think it will be the start of a very interesting story line for her and there will be a HUGE divide in the Horde. We already know other leaders of the Horde said they won't stand with her, so it will be really interesting to see how they handle that. I don't think Blizzard can do a third faction but maybe a power play to overthrow her?

What do you think of the Kul Tirans and Zandalari? Do you perceive either faction to be the tipping of the scales to the Alliance or Horde?

Rudeism:

I'd like to think that'd be the case, but here's where my game design brain gets in the way of wild speculation. Personally, I'd love to see one side win the war, whether that be Alliance or Horde. (Preferably Alliance.) Fact is though, do that and you're gonna piss off a lot of your fanbase, one way or the other. I don't think it's in Blizzard's best interest to declare a winner, or even to tip the scales before the Big Bad shows up - and I think we're all in agreement that the Big Bad will show up to band both sides together before the war concludes. That's not a criticism, I think it's great to end the expansion in a way that keeps the most people satisfied story-wise. That's a long way of saying no.

ChinglishTV:

I really enjoy the new races. I also like the way Blizzard are bringing them into the game (people have to play to unlock them which makes it a little interesting to learn the stories etc.) Zandalari = Bwonsamdi. Do I have to say anything else? He is freaking amazing. Kul Tiras = one of my favorite storylines/videos I have seen in this game to date. It pulls on the heart strings, makes you angry etc. Absolutely amazing.

Who do you think will take control of the Azerite - the Horde, the Alliance, or some unseen force/the real culprit behind the coming war?

Rudeism:

It's hard to say what will happen with the Azerite. Clearly both sides are using it - I wonder if we'll see some kind of weapon akin to an A-bomb that can level a main city (or cities). My instinct tells me that any such weapons will end up being aimed at N'Zoth, his death will cause Azeroth to begin to heal, ceasing the production of Azerite, which coincidentally got completely expended in nuking N'Zoth to hell. Just a hunch though.

ChinglishTV:

I think it's void o'clock. From memory we know that Sargeras was always scared of the void and it says lore wise they are way stronger than he could ever imagine to be. With that I think the world bleeding would have given out the scent for the void, other people to become more aware of how strong the world is. I think N'zoth will play a huge part but for me I would love to see an expansion that we lose, Both horde and Alliance lose to the void and we have to try and fight back next expansion. Something along those lines but for me personally I hope Pandaren rule the world
