Warning: Battleground Bug Affecting Level 10-49 Alliance Players

Redditor TheA1ternative has
repeatedly reported a bug
that is affecting Level 10 to 49 Battlegrounds. This is the kind of bug that not only ruins your day, but also completely unbalances the playing field. We are happy to give the issue more publicity in the hope that it will be fixed soon.
Here's the issue:
A player has been able to bring a quest pet into battlegrounds.
This Horde only mob has been decimating the opposition, one-shotting Alliance players, and turning Battlegrounds into a waste of time for the Alliance.
The mob they're bringing into BGs has 10k hp where the average player HP is 1k-1.5k. It casts slows, stuns and 1shots anyone it targets within range.
This is an obvious bug and anyone exploiting it should be considered to be cheating per
Blizzard's Terms of Service
.
Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.
The mob in question is the
Val'kyr ensorcelée
acquired from the quest,

, given by
Lindsay Astrejais
. The quest text reads:
Derrington and his men don't know it, but it was I who ordered the plaguing of Felstone Field. We need this area for practice. If we're to win this war for Andorhal, we need to use our newest, most versatile weapon:
Val'kyr.
Take my enthralled val'kyr with you, <name>, and kill the simpering Alliance scum that remain on Felstone. Once they are dead, she will bring them back to this world... as one of us.
The Forsaken shall not die out!

would probably approve of this use of her val'kyr, but yeah, not appropriate in a game. Sorry Lindsay, good effort though.
All joking aside, this is a serious offense and could result in severe penalties. Do yourself a favor and just don't do it.
