Kewl beans.
That was kinda small for a patch.
Raid Frames should now remember whether they were shown or hidden upon subsequent loginsThank you.
4.2.2 just hit the live realms--it's a real quiet one in terms of a patch, just mischelleanous technical fixes that couldn't be hotfixed in. However, the good news is that with 4.2.2 off of the PTR, it's time for 4.3 to start. We'll be watching out for it and we're definitely cooking up a storm of surprises for 4.3 coverage.Might want to use your spellcheck. Miscellaneous*EDIT: They corrected their misspelling before I could post this comment... =\/
"just mischelleanous technical fixes"\r\rSomeone's been drinking! ;)
Not gonna lie, it's annoying when people nitpick on a spelling error that I fix within 1 minute of it being posted. =P Multitasking leads to typos!
"just mischelleanous technical fixes"\r\rSomeone's been drinking! ;)\r\rWell it is a Tuesday.
"just mischelleanous technical fixes"\r\rSomeone's been drinking! ;)\r\rWell it is a Tuesday.\r\rI do have some rum and margarita mix... but I have to raid tonight >_<
I saw other bug fixes in the notes on the launcher while it was being installed, the "corpse targeting" bug had been fixed.

Man, that CAN'T be everything. There's a long list of things that they keep saying will be fixed in "a client-side patch". Well, there's been 2 now since 4.2 and none of the things I know of have been fixed...\r\rLavabolt Crossbow still has stat errors and sounds like a gun (It's a good thing I have the Arbalest from Rhyolith), I'm sure that all of the other bad\/annoying hunter bugs are still in place (pet bars disappearing, shots costing more focus than they should, PETS IN GENERAL), I have a rogue friend who said there were planned rogue changes... where is all of that? :(\r\rI don't want new content, I want my current content fixed. ;_;

Warriors have bugs too. WoW's always had bugs. Surely this isn't new to you?Um, of course not. But there seem to have been more bugs than usual that are barely even being acknowledged, while the push seems to be to just get new content out. I really do not like this turn of events. There's been very little announced about 4.3 that I'm actually looking forward to (and that one thing is the storage, the old gods know I need it bad with all the gear I've collected in my hoarding tenure).Of course, I'm also just frustrated after about 7ish weeks in Firelands with the random number generator not giving my guild loot we can use. It really feels like we've been doing nothing lately, even while killing bosses. I'm officially at the point where my VP will go to giving other people bracers. It's depressing. So I'm going to take my pent up frustration out on this very tiny patch.Post script: Of course this isn't one of those OMG QQ I QUIT BLIZZARD SUX posts. I keep playing because my friends play. Sometimes there are things that are obstacles to my fun. I actually haven't been affected by the hunter bugs lately, but I'm just surprised there's so many things not addressed yet. My solution to all of this would probably be to drink and raid, but I think my house is lacking alcohol tonight...
"just mischelleanous technical fixes"Someone's been drinking! ;)Well it is a Tuesday.I do have some rum and margarita mix... but I have to raid tonight >_<Being tipsy makes progression fun.That it does, from my old guild's experience..Man, that CAN'T be everything. There's a long list of things that they keep saying will be fixed in "a client-side patch". Well, there's been 2 now since 4.2 and none of the things I know of have been fixed...Lavabolt Crossbow still has stat errors and sounds like a gun (It's a good thing I have the Arbalest from Rhyolith), I'm sure that all of the other bad\/annoying hunter bugs are still in place (pet bars disappearing, shots costing more focus than they should, PETS IN GENERAL), I have a rogue friend who said there were planned rogue changes... where is all of that? :(I don't want new content, I want my current content fixed. ;_;Hm. I wasn't aware of this.Warriors have bugs too. WoW's always had bugs. Surely this isn't new to you?Coming from a person who plays all 10 classes pretty thoroughly (i.e. myself), none of the Warrior's bugs, probably excluding the poor rage generation for Fury (and Arms is a decent alternative, but that's beside the point), are nearly as gamebreaking as the Hunter bugs (actually pet classes are suffering a nasty bug at the moment where zoning into new areas can cause the pet to spawn without a pet bar, not to mention the already annoying "pet starts with low health\/base health prior to scaling" bug).
Well, I haven't been keeping track of the hunter\/pet class bugs for a while, but bug forums at least confirmed that the lavabolt crossbow is still all kinds of wacky. I was considering some kind of "addon" (actually more of file replacement is usually how it goes) that silences or muffles gunshots in general a month back, but I didn't want to replace files. Luckily I probably won't have anything gun-ish until after 4.3, when reskinning to a bow will be a thing.\r\rHonestly, I don't understand why they didn't keep that crossbow as a gun. I feel bad for dwarves.\r\rAnyway, other bugs I saw were the pet bar thing (which for now the best workaround I've seen is to not zone anywhere while mounted. Thankfully the portal in Firelands requires you to dismount), that sometimes a hunter's shots will cost more focus than they should (a very weird bug. I'm sure I've had it happen to me, but it doesn't seem to be very detrimental to my dps if it has been happening), that my pets have the worst ADD if you keep them on Assist stance... The pet scaling thing which will probably forever be an issue (it's only noticeable nowadays due to our large amount of health we get from gear compared to in earlier expansions)... like i said, some probably bad, most just annoying.\r\rMaybe they plan to reveal all of the fixes at 4.3...? :D They said the crossbow thing was a matter of a file swap, but they probably also want to fix the stat issue it has where there isn't mastery on it but there is mastery on it or whatever it is.
Yo we heard you like bugs so we gave Warriors Heroic Leap.
Yo we heard you like bugs so we gave Warriors Heroic Leap.Which part of it is bugged? Lemme try to answer in advance.It breaks falling damage when used in a certain wayIsn't that a good thing? Also, numerous other abilities with similar physics also breaks falling damage.Can't jump up certain elevations.This is an intended mechanic. This is the only way Heroic Leap can work properly since it "ignore pathing" to some degree. The result would be insane if Heroic Leap was allowed to go up elevations.In short. I urge you to try again. I have found no gamebreaking issues with Heroic Leap.
I noticed a few achievements were added.... could you compile a list or point me in the direction of one?
