Forever alone._.
I played WoW for about a year before starting to date my fiance. He didn't play, but was on Second Life. About a year and a half after we started dating, he had a big family blow up and needed something to distract him. I got him a Battlechest (this was just before WotLK was released) and we started playing together. We've used it as an entertainment we can do together (Cataclysm release night was a lot of fun with our 2 person LAN party) and as a chat program. There's a spot by the lake in Stormwind that is "our" spot when we just want to chat and feel a little closer to each other than words alone can convey.
Well i dont have a boyfriend , or anything like this but, i had a friend, we were not that close from each other , then one day i invited her to play WOW like - "Hey, wanna join this game -link of the trailer- ?"She was like "No , Im tired" Then next day she called me at 5 am , i woke up - " Hey, what are you thinking? Its 5 am!" Then she told me - " I AM PLAYING THIS GAME SINCE 11 PM , AND I CANT STOP, PLAY WITH ME PLEASE"Now , she is my best friend ,on wow and in real life .THE END
I met my current boyfriend playing WoW. We were friends for about a year before figuring out we were perfect for each other and have been dating for over 6 months. I'm so happy with him and I'm so glad that we met through a mutual love of playing games. Thank you :)

My wife and I have not always seen eye to eye on video games but she recently started playing WoW and has been enjoying it.
I am currently introducing my wife to the joys of online gaming, beginning with Left 4 Dead 2 and moving from there into WoW and eventually Diablo 3.This gives us something to do on slow evenings together, a new way to enjoy each other's company, and, of course, brand new avenues for exploring smack talk!
I started playing WoW because my husband was playing it so often and I wanted to understand the fascination. Now I play it more than he does! We bought a second computer and a router so we can play our characters together. We enjoy it very much! And now that our son and grandchildren play WoW, we gat to play with them, even tho' they are thousands of miles away. :-)
World of Warcraft has certainly effected the way that I keep in touch with some of my friends. Once people start making lives for themselves, it can sometimes be difficult to stay in touch or otherwise keep familiarity with your friends. With games like Wow, and especially because I refuse to use Facebook, I can stay involved with my friends' lives without required a lot of forethought and physical effort.
My hubby and I were married in game in WOW and then in RL! We had actually gone to school together but our love of games and WOW has been a huge factor in our lives. We played a video of our in game marriage at our engagement party which everyone, gamers and non gamers, thought was pretty cool. A couple that games together, stays together!
I met my fiance in WoW
Without online gaming, i would of never found my soul mate! Better yet i wasn't even looking for him at the time, he just came across my path during one day i was playing and it just happened to be! I was playing ( still play! ) World of Warcraft, and doing casual things around azeroth just having fun. I met him through my guild master, he had quit the game a year ago but decided to play once again. I'm thankful he did! We would chat for hours while playing, doing everything together. He was a really funny and charming guy, so i joked with him about how he should come out to California for my 21st birthday! I didn't think he would ever do it, but sure enough he had a plane ticket out here. When he was about time for him to fly back home he honestly didn't want to go. Turns out he bought me a plan ticket out to Kentucky and we drove everything he had back to Cali a week later. He couldn't wait any longer then that! Here we are 5 years later, still playing the game that brought us together and still going strong :). I owe it to WoW for giving me that chance to meet my soul mate! <3
playing wow for several years now and getting to know a lot of really great friends. Made memories that would have been impossible otherwise and at times when my other friends and i are hanging out and they start being annoying ill miss not having an ignore button lol.
Although I'm forever alone :(, it's been pretty cool seeing people who play WoW that I would not normally talk to as much as I do. Just the other day we were talking about the facepalms that are brought on by Spine of Deathwing on LFR. I wouldn't have the same connection to some people without my good old computer games.
About 8 years ago, I started dating this guy and we were both in the military and stationed in Texas. About the time WoW initially released, he separated from the military and moved back to Florida while I was still stuck in Texas. I truly believe we were able to endure the 2 year long distance relationship because of WoW. We quested together and leveled up multiple alts. Just recently, we did break up, but we still play the occasional MMO together and I still consider him one of my best friends and still love playing MMOs with him. :)
My Husband and I met on wow greatest thing to happen to both of us we are truly soulmates!
It's only ruined what chances I've had, haha!
