Quel'legendary for Quel'casuals.
My money is on these legendaries being raid-use only, like the ones in Tempest Keep.
I'm hopefull... but sadly chances of us non-raiders getting them is pretty low. I'm not planning on going into raids even in MoP. I'll stick with the PvP.
OMFG but why GUN and no BOW! D:
Incoming.......guild drama!
The whole point of allowing guns, bows, and xbows to be transmoggable was because some people didn't like the noise of the gun. Then you introduce a GUN as the legendary weapon for hunters, when legendaries aren't transmoggable? Fail on so many levels.
Quoting that means nothing. It's saying that the ones listed cover all of the specs. There are no icons for a crossbow, bow, polearm, wand, etc.It doesn't mean they're being added. It means that they have no reason to add them because all classes are already covered.
It means that it has most of them covered, but it doesn't have them all covered. They will obviously get them all when they can.

I just hope there will be a 1h/shield set for tanks, hopefuly not leaving us behind in the legendary race to glory :P
The part I like the most about this is that it doesn't force a raid to have a certain class to use it. During T12, I was in a 10 man that didn't have a rogue. When the rogue daggers were announced for T13, we had one of our main raiders reroll rogue just so we wouldn't waste the legendary drops. On the other hand, there was a good amount of drama over the staff in T12. Sure, it ended up for us giving it to the most active, dedicated raider that could use it, so I imagine that'll happen again with the first legendary this go-round. Sure, theorycrafting will definitely come into play. If the tanking shield/2h is completely OP for tanks, chances are it'll go to them first. Also, with multiple legendaries, it'll extend the longevity of the content. You won't have to get a new rogue in raid every couple months :PAnother thing will be rate of acquisition. I forsee many top end guilds running multiple 25 man groups just so they can get a legendary on one character, then moving it over to their main raid. Again, if the legendaries are really good, it'll be so very important to have two tanks with their legendaries, as it'll make Heroic content more manageable.I guess I really like the idea of multiple legendaries. I'll wait to see the stats/procs/etc. before I have a final verdict.
I can see this causing a lot of guild drama. Since it's available for every class, there could be situations where it could play out as guild leader reserves it first, then gives it to officers, etc etc. Personally, if that happened in my guild it wouldn't be too big of a deal to me since I am already receiving a legendary this expansion, but I could see this type of thing breaking up some raiding guilds.
Feral druid is the only spec I know of that has not received a legendary in WoW ever. If I don't get the legendary first in my guild, I'm permanently quitting WoW! :-)
epic! or should i say legendary...?
