Honestly I am slightly more concerned with certain class quests that send you into these dungeons. Unlocking the Arcway is easy enough, but now having to wait untill you can get into mythics to do this quest? Kinda sucks :/
Best Brazilian video! Hahahaha
To be honest, i love the pre quest. It gives the dungeon body, makes it epic. If you want to see it, work for it!Sounds awesome!
Gearing up for Mythic Court of Stars will take less time that it currently took to gain the rep to unlock it. Would you rather gear up in 1 week and do mythic with a group, or spend 2-3 weeks doing rep grinds? I was running out of quests and world quests and I cannot complete my class campaign until I get into it at this moment, yet I am geared enough to do mythic.
Most of the changes for the movie make no sense. Spoilers ahead!1.''Its cooler if Dalaran is floating....'' sry but there is a reason Dalaran started floating. And the reason has nothing to do with warcraft I or II.So that was totally unnecessary. Just an example2. Omission of Sargeras, all coming down to the fel. But even so, Khadgar does say in the movie: we have a demon to kill. Just like that, straight outa the blue. And THAT is not confusing at all, but mentioning that Medivh is possessed by a demon IS? Get, your, $%^&, together. This problem in particular occured cuz of the change of Khadgar not being his apprentice, so the knowledge of Medivh being possesed had to be rushed, as was the whole movie, along with the plot, relations etc.So one more change, that messed things up, and was totally not needed.3, Alodi is an old woman.....who used ALL her power, to get Khadgar to Dalaran to tell him: Keep your friends close....and to repeat the passage he already read. Now, how does that, serve any1? 4. just wonder whats more useless, her appereance completely or Lothar's son. 5. The fkin gryphon battle scene totally overshadowed any soldier, and the only thing a person could ask is: hmm, since the king already pointed out he has more than one of these birds, why the hell didn't they took them to war? Their devastating power is obvious -.-Along with this, characters and their characteristics have been altered so much, that there is no going back to the lore in any other movie, unless its a remake. So don't get your hopes up, don't expect anything epic in the next movie(s), for all i care, w3 and wow cinematics will have more depth and much more impactful storytelling than any other movie made in this direction.
Just a heads up for people who don't know how things have changed with group-finder and mythic dungeons; People will not ask for insane gear requirements for a Mythic 0 dungeon (Mythic 0 being the very base difficulty of mythic dungeons before you add keystones to make them harder). Why you ask? Because most of the people that overgear Mythic 0 are not going to waste their time in Mythic 0 after the first couple weeks of Legion's launch. They will all be working on Mythic+ by that point. This means that any idiot who tries to make crazy gear requirements is likely to be waiting in group-finder for a very long time. Simply put, If a person is starting a Mythic 0 dungeon group and asks people to have gear suitable for a Mythic+6 dungeon he is likely going to find nobody because all those people are doing Mythic+6.So rest assured, if you have gear suitable for Mythic 0 dungeon you shouldn't have a hard time getting into a Mythic 0 group.
... So they moved from rep requirements to queue for those two to making them mythic only. That's not gonna last, either. They tried that with Gate of the Setting Sun and Siege of Niuzao Temple in MoP by making those two heroic only. It wasn't long before they added normal versions so people didn't get bored leveling. I don't see them keeping the two Suramar dungeons as mythic only. There's already so few dungeons as it is. Blizzard's being really stupid limiting what dungeons people can run via LFD. Not everyone wants to find a group to do things. And not everyone wants to be stuck doing the same dungeon repeatedly until they hit max level. Scaling tech be damned. Having two dungeons removed from LFD players is effectively content removed. I'm getting really tired of Blizzard taking things away regardless if it's removed for everyone or limited to a subset of players. I pay the same as everyone else. So why do I get less content because I don't do mythic dungeons?Blizzard keeps repeating past mistakes. Remember Cata dungeons requiring you discover the entrance to queue for them? Remember how many abused that by purposefully not discovering dungeons to avoid randoming them? Remember Blizzard removing the discovery requirement? What made Blizzard think they could require a rep to queue for a dungeon? Or require questing through half or better of a zone to do it? That was just downright stupid because most players will just skip it and thus there will be fewer who can do the dungeon.Does Blizzard learn from past mistakes? As Murozond states in End Time (paraphrased): "Insanity is the repeating of the same action and expecting different results." This isn't going to end well for Blizzard. All they're doing is changing the paint on a VERY bad idea. Changing the context of the idea doesn't change that they did this before. And it didn't work out, either.
Luggage! I really hope it can eat people who attack me. And do my laundry.
I'm not in the Legion Beta, nor do I have much knowledge of the changes that Blizzard will be doing, but I want to touch on the comments in this thread:
