What is the exchange rate for WoWToken to Battle.net balance? Does 1 WoWToken equal $20 battle.net balance? Or is 1 WoWToken equal to 1 service?Kind of disappointed by the lack of information or mention of the lack of info this Wowhead article.
Those mage barriers are great - gives the class something akin to the Priest bubble I'm guessing. And I gotta admit - for the average player, mages are just too dang squishy.
Was wondering what had caused the token for gold price to rise so much these last few days.
Prismatic barrier is a little underwhelming compared to blazing barrier. Still awesome though.
RIP all the people who cant farm gold efficiently, with the way the token prices are raising, i can easily see them reaching 100k per token on NA
Wish they would have done that Bnet thing sooner. While Overwatch is a fun game and all, spending most if not all of my time in WoW makes me regret buying the game since I hardly play it now. Oh well, still good to know for whenever those "limited edition" loot boxes show up now I guess.
So I'll be able to get Legacy of the Void with my leftover WoW Tokens?Snazzy!
If nothing else, you can buy BOA tokens that reward 200 order resources with 1x Blood of Sargeras, from the blood vendor in Dalaran.
This will make it way less annoying to gear up lvl 110's and make it more fun to try out other classes for endgame and lore.
It'd be nice to know if they're going to lift/adjust the 36 tokens per 24 month period per b.net account with these changes.
I regret not blowing all my gold on tokens when they were steady at 22k... ahhhhhh
Token for Battle.net balance is a pretty nice thing, though I have some skepticism over it due to various systems in place.Firstly, let's consider how high the ratio is to determine Blizzard's base profit margins from the Token atm. The 4:3 ratio from Token cost to sub time is already more than pretty much any other Token-like system (that I am aware of, such as PLEX, which at least has bulk purchasing despite similar ratios for one PLEX, and Bonds, which are about 2.4:1.9 or roughly 5:4 before bulk purchasing) in the industry. If this continues to be the case ($20 equals $15 Battle.net funds), then Blizzard nearly makes $5 of profit every transaction. I am fully aware that there's some overhead involved in keeping the system running, but it's probably a drop in the bucket compared to the +$5 premium pricing Blizzard has tacked on here, meaning Blizzard could still make a decent amount of profit if the markup was less. Assuming Blizzard retains this conversion ratio for the Token to Battle.net system, such criticism that is already outspoken will be even more so even though it's possible to argue for a world where the dollar value of the Token is potentially a little more "fair."Secondly, much like the point above, people might end up using the Token as a defense against arguably overpriced character services and cosmetics. It'll be a lot more accessible with gold so people might be more willing to ignore the huge price tags that the services cost.Don't get me wrong. When analyzed on its own, converting a Token to Battle.net balance is a good idea due to the increased degree of consumer choice over how one can spend money they effectively bought with gold (legally) and it'll further help to curb gold sellers and their activities that can range from compromising account security to botting resources. The previous points are more of a matter of showing perspective that while Blizzard might be consumer-friendly in many ways, they have points of vulnerability in their pricing model and Token to Battle.net balance might make them more unwilling to change it as criticism gets shut down. Therefore, I personally will be using the Token to Battle.net balance conversion to buy Blizzard products of relatively decent value, whether they be games or bulk subscription. On a somewhat related note, the Token limit is currently 36 Tokens per 24 months over the entire Battle.net account. It's understandable why Blizzard did this, though the limit means one can only add so much Battle.net funds to allocate until they might be unable to keep their WoW account running with Tokens alone. Probably something worth keeping in mind for those interested in stocking up on Tokens, though the reset should be in a little over half a year, so there's that.
Easy Artifact level, don't make things so easy again blizz........ making things easy makes some nerds player quit.. I love the legion now that its very difficult to handle an alt lmao, challenge is real..
