Please stop promoting Nobbel. Reasons. Why? Has he said something outrageously wrong?
Please stop promoting Nobbel. Reasons. That sounds just like something a bunch of ghouls would say!
Please stop promoting Nobbel. Reasons. This is your opinion. I personally love Nobbel, he's helped me get into the lore or Warcraft and has a lot of passion about what he does.
Please stop promoting Nobbel. Reasons.Late April fools there my lado
It's true; he's hated on the lore forum. He recently got a lot of flak as well for saying the Horde were aggressive for destroying Teldrassil. He had a vid with all of the flames about how he's biased toward the Alliance. My favourite was how he was incredibly excited to see Zandalar in the trailer but didn't say anything about Saurfang so he's... IDK, a hack? Fake Warcraft fan? I don't even know, but there were several threads about that alone. LOL\r\rHe's alright; I don't agree with him all the time but that's how things go, y'know?

LOL\r\rHe's alright; I don't agree with him all the time but that's how things go, y'know?\r\rI believe the discussion regarding Teldrassil was more bred from evidence that the burning occurred prior to the attack on Lordaeron thus making the Horde the instigators of the opening conflicts between factions going into BFA. While his main is human he's frequently said he prefers the horde side's lore and feels it's much more developed. I'm unsure why him not mentioning Saurfang would be such a big deal to you as he has also frequently referred to Saurfang as an absolute Bad@ss; delighting in the achievement for defeating him references that he was just toying with you.\r\rCalling him a hack or a fake Warcraft fan is the furthest thing from fair. It's obvious in his streams and videos that he loves the game and that's why he started making videos, never really expecting his channel to become as big as it has and often saying he's humbled for the support he receives. There will always be threads against anyone in the public eye because everyone has their own opinions, all i hope is that people look into supposed points against people before hopping on a bandwagon.

I really like Warcraft 3, the human campaign with Arthas, for him, I will always be a paladin. Arthas was the best of warcraft 3, with his fight for his homeland and his people and for this reason, for being an iconic character, I think he deserves a better ending, not as a traitor, even Arthas could not kill Mal'Ganis. If someone can claim and reign Lordaeron must be Arthas or his sister Calia.
Wait Sylvanas ordered Putress? Really? Kind of a big retcon there considering had this been true back then he would definitely try to point fingers near his death. Unless he was so incredibly loyal that he completely allowed himself to be the scapegoat and die.
Marvelous!

Nobbel is amazing. Glad he did a summery of everything new in the book. Thank you Nobbel!
Nobbel is amazing. Glad he did a summery of everything new in the book. Thank you Nobbel!\r\rSeconded. I have found his posts extremely helpful in piecing things together. That said, the retconning seems to make this a movable feast and the novel seems a bit of a mish mash of rewriting things and taking things in new directions. Understandable enough given the novels support the games (and their changing direction) rather than the games replicating the novels' experiences but I'm still a little dizzy with some of this.\r\rWait Sylvanas ordered Putress? Now it was all at her bidding and these events never happened? Kind of disappointing, I like more complex characters facing hard decisions and conflicting motivations: having Sylvanas this dark is a bit one-dimensional.
Uncertain if it is one dimensional, she might have ordered it but Putress betrayed her post wrath gate?

*This was supposed to be a reply to GullaDaPwnaIt's not the attack on Wrathgate she ordered, but the creation of the plague. For obvious war purposes, like the events in Gilneas.Since Putress and Varimathras went rogue and attacked the Wrathgate and Undercity, she took the chance and blamed them for researching the plague behind her back.
Sylvanas lies about who created the plague that was used at the Wrathgate. This was done by her command, something that the Chronicles confirm, she just lies about it and places the blame on Varimathras and Putress. That's actually incredibly major...

It turns her into just another villain who wants to exterminate all life on Azeroth - and replace it with the undead utopia in this case? "Death to the living and death to the scourge!" Given she still has two sisters alive it seems pretty weak writing to me to turn her into another and a worse version of Garrosh, even if it's just retconning at this stage.
@zombby Nah it isn't pretty weak writing, it makes sense given how reprehensible a ton of her crimes were.
